Important Announcement

Dear valued customers,

We regret to inform you that Castle View Restaurant, as currently operated, is now closed. This has been an extremely difficult time for us, both financially and due to family health concerns. Our heart and soul have gone into this, and making this decision has not been easy.

If you have been affected by an outstanding deposit or an in-house gift voucher, please get in touch with us directly.

For customers who have purchased vouchers through IT IS ON, please note that we did not collect these funds directly and, as a third party, we are unable to provide support for these transactions. IT IS ON has retained full payment for unredeemed vouchers, and we recommend contacting them for further assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We also want to reassure you that this has nothing to do with Broomhall Castle. The castle will remain open, and the restaurant is set to reopen soon under new management.

Additionally, all weddings and events have been taken care of, and we are committed to ensuring this transition is as seamless as possible.

Important Announcement – Castle View Restaurant Closing

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the closure of Castle View Restaurant due to ongoing financial constraints, rising costs, unforeseen changes in our relationship with Broomhall Castle, and personal family health matters. This was not an easy decision, and we had hoped to share this news with you ourselves, but unfortunately, Broomhall Castle made their announcement first.

As you can imagine, our phones, emails, and social media are currently overwhelmed, but we will respond to everyone as soon as we can. Please rest assured that any weddings and events already booked will not be affected, as Broomhall Castle will now be operating the restaurant.

As Broomhall Castle has already mentioned, we want to extend our deepest apologies to those who purchased vouchers through IT IS ON. We cancelled our campaign to ensure that all of you could receive compensation or refunds prior to our closure—afterwards, this would not have been possible. We understand this has been frustrating, but please know this decision was made in your best interests. The last thing we want is for you to arrive with a voucher only to find the restaurant closed. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to reach out to Broomhall Castle, as they may have a plan in place.

We wish Broomhall Castle the very best as they move forward, even in these uncertain financial times. We are not leaving just yet and will keep you updated on our official closing date.
