Information for Monday’s fete☀️🌞☀️🌞☀️🌞

As it is going to be so hot on monday - we are prepared..:
We will have both chilled bottled water and cans to purchase on all the stalls run by the fete itself.
So you will have the opportunity to be well hydrated…😊

1. Jacket Potato stand
2. In the Pavilion
3. The Sweet pick n mix stall
4. Beer tent
5. Pimms Tent
6. Raffle / church stalls

Staplefield dog show has had to be cancelled on welfare grounds due to the heat.

The fete and car show will go ahead with ice cream vans cool drinks, beer tent, Pimms and water games to replace the dog show.

Here’s a rough plan for the
‘the Staplefield H2-OH! Show in the
arena at 1:30
We will have three games which anyone from the crowd can participate in:
Game 1: Over under sponge game (2 or 4 teams - depending on numbers)
Prize = sweets for the winning team

Game 2: Apple Bob relay
Again 2 or 4 teams players take in turns to run, bob for an Apple and return it to their team
Prize: sweets for winning team

Game 3: leaky cup game
Players in teams take it in turns to fill a leaky cup and run to the other side to fill their bucket

Prize: team with the most water in the bucket gets to tip that bucket over the vicar 😬
