Confession time from a Celebrant who prefers vows over viral dances…

I don’t do trends. By the time I’ve Googled what the trend is, the trend has trended off. 😅

And can someone please explain “POV” to me? I’ve looked it up. I’ve read the examples. I still feel like it’s grammatically… suspicious. Is it just me? Or are we all just collectively pretending it makes sense?

Also, if you're wondering if this a because-you're-nearly-40 thing, I can assure you, it isn't (ask my friends what shoes I wore to my high school prom 🤣).

So for the foreseeable, I’ll stick to writing heartfelt ceremonies, telling beautiful love stories, and knowing exactly what my sentences are doing, thank you very much.

If you want a wedding that is just YOU, I'm here for it! Sod the trends, do what makes you happy!

But it's such a simple message that I do want to echo 💖

Let's have a good one! 🥂

What a beautiful way to spend Twixmas, celebrating Richard's and Sarah's wedding at

This wedding presented a challenge for me: how to celebrate and create a joyous moment, whilst respecting and paying tribute to painful pasts. But these two made it easier by sharing their story with me, speaking openly and being so obviously in love.

Richard and Sarah, I hope your second chance at love is magical and makes you both deeply happy 💖

And that's a wrap for 2025!

Final wedding of the year was at the stunning in the intimate tower.

It was certainly a wedding to bring a tissue to, and I felt so honoured to be chosen to tell the story of such a special, beautiful journey. (I'll post more later!)

But for now, I think I'll exit stage left, enjoy a glass of Malbec and listen to my curry bubbling away on the stove.

And no, jazzy jacket is off, heels kicked off, and PJ bottoms are ON!

Honestly, if I could do this one all again, I would! and Michael are gorgeous humans, and I felt so lucky to be chosen to be part of their day. I'll be honest, when Bella did her MOH speech, there might have been a tear in my eye.

Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Wray! May your laughter always be booming xx

The back drop to a beautiful wedding! is serenely beautiful with so much space and an magnificent brick barn for the reception afterwards (or the ceremony too!)

In June, A & A chose such meaningful cords and ribbons to represent their grandparents, and the importance of family was celebrated in the ceremony.

Respecting their privacy, I won't post more photos or give more details about their day 💕

But what would your Celebrant ceremony look and sound like?

Poignant?
Reflective?
Funny?
Lively?
WILD?!

It's rare that a venue blows me away, but is something unique - fun, wild, rustic, beautiful! I'm not sure if you can officially swim in the lake, but it definitely looked like it, with a slide for ease of entry! There's a barn for the reception and a double decker bus... not entirely sure what's in it, but it's still really cool!

So there's lots I don't know, but it is SUPER cool! If you're looking somewhere a bit different in the south east, this is definitely worth a visit!

And of course, you'd need a Celebrant, so do message me if you choose this venue as I'd LOVE to go back!! Only if I could get married again...! (Don't worry no fear of that!)

🧀 With some mature cheddar stashed in his pocket, Lewis was 99% confident the ring bearer, their dog, would deliver the goods!

Thank you for choosing me to be part of your day - it was a dream creating your ceremony!

It's back to business, baby!

Wedding fair yesterday at the gorgeous and wedding on Friday means I now get to do all the lovely wedding things AND be on mat leave! It's a juggle with my strict breast feeding schedule (!) but it's totally worth it!

And so, with 2026 enquiries suddenly popping in and having met lots of people yesterday, I thought I should just re- introduce myself!

As well as loving being a Celebrant, there are a few other things I love:

- eating baked goods
- my 3 girls (80% of the time 😬😆)
- speaking francais and espanol
- 22-4 C sunny days (specific, I know!), and I would rarely say no to a glass of chilled white wine or a pint
- walking around new places
- holidays in Europe
- spending time with family and friends when I'm not being distracted by whinging children 🤣
- getting a good night sleep (this wouldn't usually make the list, but having a 6 week old baby refocuses things and makes this the ultimate dream)
- hanging out with my husband
- Italian cappuccinos
- French croissants..I could list so much now, so I better stop!

Anyhoo, if you're looking for a Celebrant, maybe I'm your gal! If you want to know more, check out my website (link in bio) or message me to arrange a no-obligation Zoom chat!

You guys share so much with me when I write you're wedding script, and so today it's my turn to share!

Third girl and I'm less 😖🤯😳 this time round (although I still have my moments!). She's sleeping a lot, puking a lot and the poo has now turned yellow. But 'just sleep when they nap' is still a difficult concept for me - I just want to enjoy the sunshine, not shut out the curtains and wait for a wail to disturb my snores! But on occasion, needs must 😆

I'm apprehensive about the Easter holidays and entertaining the other 2 (5 and nearly 3 yo) as well as the baby, but my family is amazing, my husband too, and I just need to remember to make our own fun! Life can be busy and stressful and difficult, but I can still plan to have a good time and share as much of it as possible with friends and family around me 😍 There will 100% be sarcastic comments made at the expense of the raging toddler, many requests yelled upstairs for the 5yo to ignore me, and my lovely husband trying his best to figure out what I want but haven't said, but there's no situation I'd rather be in.

Work-related note:

For 2025 couples, I've got a couple of scripts almost done for the summer weddings, and now I'll take a wee break until we've found our routine! I'll be back to it soon though, because it gives me joy!

For new enquiries, keep 'em coming!

Spring wedding? YES PLEASE!!!!!

I have done many over the years and here are some photos of some of the memorable moments!

Whether the sun has shone, or the skies have been grey, there has been NOTHING GREY about the day at all!

From luxurious flowers, to stunning interiors, to intimate settings and (of course) a Celebrant ceremony, each wedding has SHONE and been GLORIOUS!

There are many advantages to a Spring wedding:
✅ no sweaty Bettys 🤭
✅ no one (suppliers, guests in their 30s...!) is suffering from wedding fatigue 😵
✅ may be cheaper 🤑
✅ after the wedding, you still have summer to look forward to! 🍹
✅ let's be honest, it's a stunning season!

Happy Spring wedding to all Spring couples - have a bloomin' good day!! 🌻🌷🌹🌼
