We had an absolute blast at Spennymoor Party in the Park! 🎶☀️🎉

AH Events Group were proud to provide the full event management, safety and production for what turned out to be an amazing day in Jubilee Park.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event happen – the fantastic performers, suppliers, crew, contractors and, of course, everyone who came along and enjoyed the day!

Over the years, we had the genuine pleasure of working with Kevin on several occasions, and he was always a true gentleman. Whether it was at a launch event in Newcastle, the Kevin Keegan Soccer Circus at the Gateshead Garden Festival, or the Nissan European Cup celebrations in 1993, he brought warmth, enthusiasm and an unmistakable passion wherever he went.

Looking back through our archives has brought back some wonderful memories, and we wanted to share a few photographs from those special moments. They are a reminder not only of an iconic footballing figure, but of a man who always had time for those around him.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Jean, Laura, Sarah, and everyone who knew and loved him at this incredibly sad time.

We were proud to deliver Ferryhill Party in the Park & Armed Forces Day on behalf of Ferryhill Town Council, marking our third event working in partnership to deliver this fantastic community celebration.

The day was packed with entertainment for all ages, including live music on our fully produced stage, children's rides and inflatables, craft activities, face painting, games, a licensed bar, community organisations and much more.

One of the highlights of the day was a superb performance from The Soldiers of Swing, whose energy and timeless repertoire had the crowd singing and dancing throughout the afternoon.

It was wonderful to see the park filled with families enjoying the sunshine and supporting another successful community event. We'd like to thank Ferryhill Town Council, all of the performers, exhibitors, suppliers and volunteers who helped make the day such a success.

This year we were delighted to be awarded the contract to provide event production, management and safety for Spennymoor Town Council.

The first event of the season was the Spennymoor Family Fun Day, celebrating Armed Forces Day and recognising the fantastic work of our Armed Forces and Blue Light Services.

For 2026 we completely redesigned the event layout, creating a vibrant event hub around the park's bandstand. The new layout created a welcoming atmosphere, encouraged visitors to stay longer and made the event feel busier and more engaging throughout the day.

With glorious sunshine, fantastic entertainment and an attendance significantly higher than previous years, it was a brilliant way to begin what promises to be a fantastic partnership with Spennymoor Town Council.

Every year we are delighted to work with Stanley Learning Partnership, providing full event production, event management and safety for their annual schools festival.

The event gives hundreds of young people the opportunity to perform on a professional stage, showcasing their incredible talent in front of family, friends and the local community.

Working alongside Project Genesis, British Cycling and local partners, we were proud to deliver the Consett Cycle Festival.

The town centre came alive with a packed programme of entertainment including a professional stage and sound production, cycling workshops, walkabout performers, family activities and the incredible Paul Swift Precision Driving Show.

The festival is built around the start and finish of the prestigious Tour of the Reservoir, creating a fantastic atmosphere for both competitors and spectators while encouraging more people to get involved in cycling.

We were delighted to support Wharton Park and Durham County Council with the production and event management of The Rifles Freedom Concert, held in the park's stunning open-air amphitheatre.

The daytime event formed part of the celebrations marking 10 years since the reopening of Wharton Park following its major refurbishment, bringing together live music, military heritage and the local community in one of Durham's most picturesque settings.

It was a privilege to help deliver such a special event, with the magnificent Band of The Rifles providing the soundtrack to a fantastic afternoon enjoyed by visitors of all ages.

We were delighted to work with Sunderland City Council, once again, to provide event production, management and safety for one of the One Big Summer community events.

Delivered over three days alongside BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, the event showcased the very best of the local community, giving performers the opportunity to take to a professional stage while entertaining thousands of visitors.

The free event featured live music, circus performances, community organisations, craft activities, face painting and family entertainment throughout the weekend. It was fantastic to help create an event that brought people together and celebrated everything great about Sunderland.
