These two photos I took minutes apart! The one on the left for a social media post, intending to show how excited and confident I felt with my work! The one on the right is the one I sent to the girls group chat, expressed my crippling anxiety that for some reason over night the flowers would die and I would have ruin a lovely brides day. Or that she simply wouldn’t like my work! Impostor syndrome is a really thing! How dare I think I’m good enough to actually take on wedding work! The biggest day of a persons life and they are trusting me with such an important part…

What I didn’t take a photo of is the moment I sat in my car crying after receiving a message from the bride to say how much she loved them! Mostly from relief they didn’t die over night and that someone actually trusted me enough to use me as a florist!
