🚂 WULLY BULLY ARE BACK AT THE RAILWAY CLUB! 🎷

We’re kicking off our September gigs by heading back to one of our favourite places — Clacton Railway Club!

📅 Saturday 5th September

Expect plenty of soul, party classics, big tunes and hopefully a full dance floor🕺💃

Let’s talk about Friday…. About an hour and a half before the gig, we found out there’s one song the birthday girl and her gang sing at the end of every night out… and it just had to happen. 🎤

So naturally we decided, “How hard can it be?” We’ll play and sing it with a backing track!

Caroline channelled her 14-year-old self, belting out It’s All Coming Back to Me Now into a hairbrush in her bedroom… thankfully, the muscle memory was still in there somewhere! 😂

Then came the technical hitch… the band couldn’t actually hear the backing track. 🤦‍♀️

Did it matter? Not one bit.

The whole room took over, everyone sang at the top of their lungs, and it turned into one of those brilliantly chaotic moments that you’ll remember far longer than a perfect performance. ❤️

(Sound and video isn’t the best… but the atmosphere definitely was!)

🎷 SEPTEMBER IS LOOKING BUSY! 🎷

We’ve got five Wully Bully outings coming up, and we’re looking forward to getting out there and doing what we do best — playing some great tunes and hopefully getting a few people on the dance floor! 🕺💃

🎶 Wully Bully may be quiet… but don’t be fooled! 🎶

Things might have gone a little quiet on the Wully Bully gig front, but that certainly doesn’t mean we’ve put our feet up. Well… not all of us anyway. 😂

🥁 Ben has been getting his groove on at a drumming masterclass — because apparently he needed to learn how to make even more noise.

🎷 Murray has been entertaining at the stroke & wellness foundation in Tendring, taking his music out into the community.

✈️ Caroline has been off absorbing musical influences in far-flung places, including seeing the rather extraordinary Jacob Collier in Tenerife. 🌴🎶

🎹 Simon continues to ti**le the ivories in various musical set-ups, including A Light Left On! Frankly, we’re beginning to suspect he has a piano permanently attached to him.

🎸 Jay has been keeping busy with his other band, Neon Nova Nights, and is also gearing up for a solo session at the launch of the Tiny Music Store coming soon. Because apparently one musical project just isn’t enough!

🕵️ Mike remains shrouded in mystery. We have absolutely no idea what he’s been up to… but we’re fairly confident there’s some music-making going on somewhere. 👀

So, while Wully Bully might be taking a little breather, the individual members are clearly incapable of staying musically idle for five minutes.

We’ll be back at the end of the month with a couple of private gigs then we hit the ground running from Sept - more details to follow go where you can catch us this Autumn!
