We are not a Manor, Hall or Castle. We are not a Barn, Hotel or Estate, we are ASHFIELD HOUSE. When couples take over exclusively for their wedding day, our house becomes like their home and we become like their extended family! Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the persona

lity of each couple. The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild – but not so hipster your Nan wont approve! We are not normal… being an independent family business means we let couples do their thing without a load of rules getting in the way. We love drinking coffee and brainstorming about how to make weddings awesome – and with a layout designed specifically for weddings, mind blowing in house catering and 15 guest bedrooms we really do ace it. We can host 120 guests for a ceremony and sit down dinner and up to 220 for evening receptions

Shameless brag, we’ve won the UK’s best venue (town/city) 2017, 2018 and 2019 and for 2020 we are living the dream as judges! 13 awards in 3 years can't be wrong! We never stop evolving, much like Madonna Queen of Reinvention, we close each year to redecorate, renovate and populate our house with very lovely new things. We’re chuffed our page has found its way to you but fear not, if we aren’t your cup of tea (or the cracker to your cheese) we wont be doing the hard sell. Although lets be honest, you’d be crazy not to at least come for a nosey, right?

Our next Open House is nearly here!

An Open House is a relaxed afternoon where you can bring your big ideas or work out the little details with the help of our Wedding Team. No suppliers, no pressure, no fuss! ❤️

Whether you're booked in with us or simply curious for a nosey, come and see Ashfield House ‘au naturel’ and take a look at the practical side of things like:

🪑 Tables | Check out what size tables fit where, we can bring out all the sizes for you!

🎀 Your stuff | Bring your centrepieces, place settings, signs, props… basically anything you want to see in situ.

🛏️ Bedrooms | Have a good nosey around the bedrooms, test out the cots, and figure out which guests belong where.

🤷🏼‍♀️ Questions | The team will be here to answer your questions, so hit us with the tricky ones!

No need to book, just turn up Wednesday 20th May, 3:30pm-8:30pm!

Thanks to your votes we have qualified as a finalist in the Best Wedding Venue Manchester category of the North West Wedding Awards 2026!

The winners are announced mid-June so we will keep you posted, but honestly anything that happens beyond this point is a bonus. It means so much to us that people enjoyed their time at Ashfield House and voted for us.

That means we're making you, our couples, happy, and that's the most important award to us. ❤️

(don't get us wrong, winning this award would be very cool too 😂)
