The Bento & Bubbles Cake Decorating Workshop is coming to 55 Wade Street, and spaces are limited!

If you’ve been looking for something different to do, this is it. Whether it’s a date night, catching up with family, a solo treat, a work social, or simply an excuse to try something new… everyone is welcome.

You’ll decorate your own beautiful 5-inch cake with everything provided, so all you need to do is turn up and enjoy yourself.

What’s included?
• 5-inch cake
• All equipment
• Step-by-step guidance
• A huge selection of decorations
• Presentation box to take your cake home safely

Decorate a cake that even Mary Berry would be proud of.

Children aged 12+ are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult.

A £10pp deposit secures your place.

I have been so behind with posting my content recently – it honestly feels like I’ve been constantly trying to catch up!

I’ve finally got round to sharing our workshop from all the way back at the beginning of July at 55 Wade Street.

These last few weeks in this never-ending heatwave have definitely been a learning curve. I’ve had to adapt, problem-solve and make plenty of changes to stop your cakes from melting before we’d even started decorating! Thank you so much to everyone for your patience, support and understanding while I figured it all out.

I’ve got so many workshops, cakes and behind-the-scenes moments to share over the next few weeks, so if it feels like I’m taking you back in time a little, that’s because I’m finally catching up with everything!

Now it’s time for a few weeks off to enjoy a well-deserved holiday. Thank you all again for your continued support. I’ll be back refreshed, recharged and ready for lots more cake decorating fun. 💕🍰

Tonight’s the night… so an England-themed bento box felt only right! ⚽🤍❤️

A mini celebration cake with matching cupcakes, finished with all the Three Lions details. Perfect for watching the match… or celebrating afterwards.

I think I might genuinely be the only person who hasn’t watched a single World Cup game! While everyone else is shouting at the TV tonight, I’ll be tucked up in bed with a good book instead. 📖😂

Hi, I’m Nikki, the face behind Bento & Bubbles.

I host cake decorating workshops across the Midlands and Staffordshire, creating experiences that bring people together through creativity, laughter and, of course, cake.

Whether you’re planning a birthday celebration, bridal shower, baby shower, hen party, corporate event or team-building day, every workshop is tailored to your group. From intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, I take care of everything so you can simply turn up, decorate and make memories.

Alongside private bookings, I also host regular ticketed workshops throughout the year. From seasonal favourites and themed events to relaxed free-flow decorating sessions, there’s always something new to get involved with. If you’d like to join one, you’ll find all of my upcoming workshops pinned at the top of my Instagram profile. 🤍

My goal has always been to create more than just a cake decorating class. I want every guest to leave feeling proud of what they’ve made, having met new people, laughed a lot and created memories they’ll genuinely remember.

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a very special 8th birthday cake decorating party… and what a brilliant afternoon it was! 🎂✨

A room full of excited 7 and 8-year-olds, plenty of sugar, endless creativity and so much laughter. Every single one of the girls was so polite, enthusiastic and incredibly creative. They certainly gave my decoration stash a good workout, but seeing how proud they were as they showed off their finished cakes made every sprinkle worth it!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and to the venue for keeping us cool with the air conditioning on full blast—it definitely helped us all survive decorating in the summer heat!

If you’re looking for something a little different for your child’s birthday, my cake decorating parties are the perfect way to celebrate. I bring everything needed, guide the children step by step, and they each leave with a cake they’re proud to have created.
