I am a fun-loving, people-loving, inclusive, and enthusiastic person, and my favourite keywords in life are "Joy", "Love" and "Fabulous". I am passionate about working with clients crafting beautiful, fitting and personal ceremonies for weddings, vow renewals, baby naming, coming out parties, end of life ceremonies, or any other ceremony celebrating a significant event. I take huge delight in meet

ing new people and discovering each one’s wonderful uniqueness, and the ceremonies that I create, reflect this. My ceremonies are all about love, as I truly believe that love inspires us, strengthens us and makes us even more wonderful. I still have a bit of the teenage rebel to me, and I love to try new things and have new experiences. I adore travelling in my old campervan, Wild Swimming, pink glitter and tattoos, and whilst I truly love beautiful romantic ceremonies, I adore ones that step out of the box also! I try to seek out the fabulous and hope I spread a little of it too. I am based in Stafford in the West Midlands and am wonderfully situated for travel throughout the UK, and will also travel beyond.

A memory came up on my personal page today.
8 years ago I walked out of a job as an accountant in a toxic environment, and I can honestly say I have never looked back.
I had trained as a celebrant and was working but hadn't fully committed to my new vocation.
8 years on with hundreds of ceremonies completed; celebrating love in so many ways; renewal of vows, weddings, saying goodbye to loved ones.
Working as a celebrant is so rewarding. I have had the honour of working with and creating bespoke ceremonies for amazing people, and long may it continue.

Sometimes we have to take a step into the unknown.

I was going to head home for a couple of hours before this afternoon's ceremony, to write a blog about Stafford Pride (read the blog on my updated website www.sharonpeakcelebrant.co.uk which should be live next week!!)..
But the thought of a sandwich and a nice cup of tea at the stunning Weston Hall in the sunshine, made it too hard to drive past!
