I thought it was about time I introduced myself! So, I'm Hayley, wife and mum to an almost teenager! 😱 I love Halloween and everything spooky and scary. Me and my hubby watch a horror film every Sunday night with a takeaway, a tradition we started many years ago and now are slowly starting to warp our son's mind too! 😂
Opening the shop was a spur of the moment decision based on a dream of owning a spooky shop that I never thought would become a reality. After visiting Bishton Hall for the first time, I instantly fell in love with the place, so when the shop became available the next week, it felt like it was meant to be. I decided that I wanted my shop that encompass all my favourite things; books, board games and all things spooky and so Ghostly Gifts was born! I want my shop to be a spooky sanctuary for those who enjoy the darker side of life all year round, not just at Halloween! I love supporting local makers and artists as I know how hard it is to compete with the big chain stores. My aim is for the shop to be ever evolving and changing so that there's always something new for my regular customers to see when they visit.

We will be transforming The Courtyard at Bishton Hall into a festive haven for dogs and their humans to enjoy.

🚨 EVENT UPDATE 🚨

Sadly, due to the heavy rain forecast this weekend, Bring Your Thing has been cancelled.

Our grounds are already quite wet, and with more rain expected, it wouldn’t be safe or enjoyable for cars or visitors.

But don’t worry — our 2026 dates will be out soon and we can’t wait to see you (and your cars!) then. 🚗☕
