A drizzly morning, but these clematis look amazing and the fragrance is devine.

I did consider removing them as I was disappointed with them, but I’m glad I left them in place as they have started to earn their keep.

They are Clematis armandii “Snowdrift”and “Apple Blossom”.

Have you given a plant one more chance to deliver?

Happy Chinese New Year.

This year is the Year of the Rabbit.

People born in the year of a rabbit are seen as social butterflies, Rabbits have a wide social network. So if a career requires social connections, such as PR jobs, a Rabbit would be a good candidate.

In addition, Rabbits can try careers that involve decision making. However, they must have a reliable friend by their side to give some advice and tactics.

Were you born in the Year of the Rabbit, does this sound like you?

I was born in the year of the Dog and my best working partners are people born in the year of the rabbit, so maybe 2023 is the year to collaborate?

Apparently, people born in the Year of the Dog will suit jobs requiring creative ideas and planning abilities, flower farmer florist seems to fit the bill.

Today I visited Nelson’s distillery to take part in a gin experience that I was gifted. It was a great day and a very interesting process.

If you get the chance to have a go , you won’t be disappointed. Make sure though that you don’t drink and drive.

Let's bloom together...

January and February is all about the planning for the flowery months ahead.

Currently my patch is bare, as I grow with the seasons, I have some seedlings in the greenhouse waiting to go outside once the weather is a little warmer, and will start sowing more when the day light hours increase, it's all about being patient, not easy for a red head.

I have tulips in the ground and I'm looking forward to them showing their heads ready for spring posies, I'll post more information when they are available.
