Just to update everyone. We have planning permission for a new village hall but no plans to rebuild just yet as we don't have sufficient funds.
Once we have a firm plan and an idea of how much we need to raise we will start fund raising.

Duloe Village Hall will be demolished in the next couple of weeks. The hall committee have planning permission to build a new hall and will start fund raising soon.

Duloe and Staploe Village Hall Committee took the difficult decision to close the hall this evening. A recent survey of the structure revealed that it might not be safe. We are currently investigating possibilities of rebuilding it but we will be cancelling all bookings and cannot accept any bookings.

There will be a meeting of Duloe and Staploe Village Hall Committee on Tuesday 1st May at 7.30pm in the hall. The committee are urgently seeking new members as a lot of the work currently falls to just one active member who is working full time and is in need of support.

There will be a meeting of the Village Hall Rebuild / Refurbishment Working Group at 8pm on Tuesday 13th February in Duloe Village Hall. We have received renewed interest and offers of help for this project. If you would be interested in helping / advising on rebuilding or refurbishing the hall please do come along to the meeting.

We would like to thank Huntingdonshire Community Payback Team for all their hard work cleaning the hall inside and out, weeding the perimeter and painting the mounts for the new heaters. They have done a great job.

Staploe Parish Council hold the Noel Bates Memorial Field (Duloe Playing Field) in trust. The field is approximately 100m x 125m in size and it is currently maintained by Staploe and Duloe Football Club in return for use of the pitch. The Football Club will be moving on 31st May 2018 and the Parish Council are seeking alternative hirers to use the field after that date.
It is adjacent to Duloe Village Hall (PE19 5HR) which is available for hire at a rate of £7 per hour for regular hirers (£25 minimum charge for occasional users), and there is a play area and parking available.

The Village Hall Committee are urgently seeking committee members and they are holding their AGM on Tuesday 31st October at 7pm in the Village Hall. Please do attend if you can offer to support them in any way. Our village hall is a vital community asset. At present much of the work falls to Sam Bygraves who is working full time and is unable to sustain the current workload. Please help save our village hall.

Duloe Village hall is a hall which can seat about 80 people. It is in a quiet rural location near St. Neots and is set in a playing field with a play area, decking and picnic tables directly behind the hall.

The hall is served by a tarmac car park with one disabled parking space and 5 further parking spaces. There is overflow parking on the grass verge along the side of the playing field.

The hall has a kitchen with a fridge, kettle and urn but no oven. There are tables and chairs available for use.

There are two toilets.

Hire rates are £7 / hour. For irregular or occasional bookings a minimum charge of £25 applies.

The hall is heated by electric bar heaters mounted below the ceiling. Lighting is included in the hire but heating and other electricity is paid for by a meter which takes £1 coins.
