CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING 🎄 🌿

It’s now into October, which means Christmas is definitely more on our minds! 🤩

I have some availability still on my luxury wreath classes which take place on the farm using all foliage grown around the farm and an array of decorations to choose from! To top that you will receive a hot chocolate that’s been warmed on the log burner and a homemade mince pie 🥧 ☕️

Thank you to everybody that bought some flowers off me at Sibsey Farmers Market this weekend 🤩🫶🏻🌸

It was another busy one which is absolutely fantastic and I have to say, I saw lots of new faces! The word is spreading on how good the market really is 💐

I think October will be the last month for fresh flowers however next month I’ll be advertising my pre made wreaths ready for ordering as well as I might make up some dried bunches! 🌿

Get ready for spring baby 🌷🤩🫶🏻

I have to say, I really hate the winter. What more can I say than cold weather, dark nights and having to wear multiple layers. 😭

So any chance I get to plan for the spring, warmer weather and lighter nights I will do so! ☀️

Spring tulips have been purchased alongside some more of the popular alliums 💜

Only 6 months to go… not that I’m counting or even thinking about Mother’s Day yet 🤭

With prices locked for a second year, you will create a 12” wreath from scratch using locally grown quality hay/straw, 5 x foliages grown here on the farm and 6 accessories to decorate as well as a bow! 🎀

There are lots of choices of accessories such as baubles, traditional cinnamon sticks and fruit as well as bells and candy canes

I HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE!🤩💐

I have finally got two new poly tunnels up for the autumn winter season!! 🙌🏻

A little back story. Last year my friend messaged to say there were some free tunnels going in Crowland (which is about an hour from me) however we have to dismantle!

Me and dad went to investigate (him 7 months post open heart surgery ❤️ ) and we decided we wanted them!! As you can see from the end video, they were very over grown and also a multispan. The gutter were a little worse for wear so we decided to leave them and create 6 x new individual tunnels.

This means I can control and an environment easier but also create a great crop rotation. 🌱

It took some maths skills to work out with what we have to create the individual tunnels but one year later we have two of them up! They’re not cheap to get up but I know this way has also cost me an absolute fortune than if I were to buy brand new! 💰

What does that mean for flowers?💐 I will be able to grow more over wintered flowers for the spring, grow more gentler flowers that need a bit more protection from the wind but also extend my autumn season with much better quality flowers 🍂

I’m now on the hunt for clean and good water storage solutions 😭 💦
