We’ve had a few questions about what actually happens at a Race Night – so here’s everything you need to know 👇

📅 Date: Saturday 25 October 2025
🕕 Time: 6pm start
📍 Gedney Hill & District Memorial Hall

🎟 Entry
• £5 per person – includes a delicious sausage & chip supper (vegetarian option available) - Please book in advance
• £2 per person – without supper
🍽 Bar open all evening!

🐴 How the Races Work
• Throughout the night we’ll show a series of pre-recorded horse races. No one knows the outcome in advance, not even us!
• You place small bets on the horses you think will win – it’s all for fun and fundraising!
• Cheer your horse home as the race unfolds on the big screen.
• If your horse wins, you’ll win prize money!!

💷 Sponsoring a Race – £20
• Includes 2 free entries (with supper) and 1 horse.
• Your name or business will be proudly featured in the race night programme for the race you sponsor.
🐎 Buying a Horse – £2.50
• Before the event, you can “buy” a horse for a specific race. Choose your horse’s name and it will appear with your name, as the owner, in the programme.
• If your horse wins, you win £10!
• Horses sell quickly, so grab yours early!
