As a beautiful converted granary barn, we are registered for Civil Cermonies as well as hosting wedding receptions, proms, parties and conferences. Onsite parking is available as well as accommodation, in the form of 6 beautifully converted stables.

8 years…..96 months….2922 days and 100’s of memories….....

After 8 wonderful years of creating memorable moments and sharing in the joy of countless celebrations, we have mixed emotions in announcing the retirement of Phil & Kath Chapman as of 31st December 2024.

Alongside retirement, a life changing incident to an immediate family member last year, naturally altered our priorities and perspective. As we all should, we have come to understand the profound importance of finding a work-life balance, something which is very hard to do in this industry.

Our hearts are full as we reminisce about the beautiful weddings, events, love, laughter and happy tears that have graced our time at Whaplode Manor.

We have been there on the sidelines to help create and witness some of the most magical and meaningful experiences for our clients, alongside some of the hardest for them as well.

With a growing young family and time not passing any slower, the New Year seems the perfect time to step away from the industry, taking with us an abundance of happy memories and many new friends and acquaintances.

From the whole Chapman family, as we fondly bid farewell to this chapter, we will cherish the memories and connections we have made with each and every couple.……and to our wonderful “supplier family” – thank you for being fabulous work friends 😊
