One week till redundancy, going to play around with a few ideas, this being one of them!
I’m no dance instructor, but I just love to dance myself! 💃💃💃
Last year I went along to just this, a space in a village hall that had a lovely lady bring along music & people just joined her to dance for an hour!
She enabled lots of ladies to come together and just feel part of something quite special!
A sort of one hour Day Disco - all welcome, 18yrs+ and just wanting to dance, but not alone in their kitchen!
No warm ups, no cool downs…
Just a smile & a Hello to others attending before we..::
Just dance with others… 💃💃💃💃
There was lots of loud singing 🎤
Plenty of joy on display 😁
Some doing their own line dance👟👟
Whole room doing the Macarena 🇪🇸
Some just tapping toes & swaying but they were out the house & connecting with others 🙌
Singing along to those well known disco tunes 🎤
Just having a joyous hour - whilst moving!
So a few weeks off to re-charge as its’ been a brutal few weeks from one thing & another
Then I’m out there…
To bring people together 👭👬
To get them out the house 🏠
To meet new people 👥👥👥
To form new friendships 🫶
Whilst Having an hour of fun dancing 💃
I’m looking for as low cost space as possible as these sessions have to be low cost per person to get them out the house!
So if you know of an area around South Holland that would welcome a mini Day Disco, let me know, bonus points for a space I can investigate - pubs, cafes, village halls - anywhere we would have space for a good old dance!
