I brought my Ensign Commando to this event as well — a camera from 1940. I love those quiet moments spent adjusting the settings and later developing the film. The smell of darkroom chemicals, the anticipation as the image slowly appears…
Afterwards, I digitise the photos so you can see them too, but they still carry that unmistakable nostalgia of old photographs, even though they were taken today, in the age of digital photography
