Long afternoons. Gardens in full bloom. Windows thrown open to the summer air.

Halfpenny London. White dahlias. Spicy margaritas. Lobster and salted fries on silver. Tiramisu for the table. A June afternoon that felt as though it could have lasted forever.

With July unfolding, the house fills once again.

It’s been a little while since our Open House, and we can’t quite believe we haven’t shared more from it.

We’re in the middle of our busiest few weeks of the year, with galleries landing in our inbox almost every day. Watching this house through so many different eyes is something we’ll never take for granted.

Every Open House is thoughtfully considered. We never want it to feel overstyled or trend-led for the sake of it. It has to feel like us. Relaxed, timeless, full of texture, and always inspired by bringing the outside in.

We’re incredibly selective about the suppliers we recommend, so choosing who to collaborate with is never easy. This time, felt like the perfect fit. Planning, styling and florals all under one roof, with an effortless creativity that makes everything feel beautifully considered without ever feeling overdone.

And then there’s Abi - Wedding Photography | Super 8 | Analogue - calm, intuitive and endlessly talented. Her work is emotional, modern and quietly playful in all the right ways. It’s no surprise that so many of our couples have chosen her this summer.

hold studio london always seems to understand exactly what we’re trying to create. Her stationery is timeless, beautifully crafted and never overdone. It’s been so lovely to see more and more of our couples choosing her this year, with each design feeling effortlessly at home at The Old Vicarage.

It was also such a pleasure to have Tabby with us. Having recently launched her own content creation business, - she spent the day quietly capturing all of the little moments that often go unnoticed. We’re always happy to support people at the beginning of their journey, and we have no doubt she’s going to do incredibly well.

We hope these images inspire you as much as they inspired us. And if you couldn’t make it to our Open House, we’d love to welcome you for a private viewing instead.

Whilst we’re enjoying the start of wedding season, socials naturally take a bit of a back seat.

We’re still very much here, just slightly less online and more immersed in the days themselves.

Nothing really compares to finally watching couples we’ve worked with for over a year actually get married. After months of planning, emails, meetings and build up, seeing it all come together is still the best part of what we do.

We’ve also been lucky enough to have with us for the last three weddings, which means we now have far too many beautiful previews sitting in our camera roll waiting to be shared.

From Australia to the English countryside, and yet somehow Darcie and Katie still made the house feel entirely their own.

The kind of wedding day that reminds you what it’s all about - so much love, so much happiness, and two families becoming one.

Friends and family travelled from all over the world, including Australia, to be there with them - which honestly says everything about the kind of people they are and the love surrounding them.

We’re looking for a freelance content creator to work closely with us at The Old Vicarage.

Someone who can capture, edit and share content across Instagram and TikTok in a way that feels considered, editorial, and true to our world.

We’re looking for someone who understands storytelling and pacing - how a brand translates visually, and how content builds over time. Someone who can plan thoughtfully, create consistently, and evolve ideas with us as the seasons change.

You’ll also take the lead on paid social, so experience with performance, lead generation and ROAS is essential.

Ideally, you’ll be local (or nearby) and able to spend time at the house, working alongside us and our team.

This is a paid freelance role. We’re drawn to those who feel aligned with our aesthetic - design-led, understated, and intentional. Experience within weddings, hospitality or luxury brands is a plus.
