Is your little one ready for Halloween?! We're so excited for our upcoming holiday workshops taking place this October half term! Whether they want to be a witch, a monster, or Rumi from Demon Hunters - again; we have a fantastic workshop just for our younger dancers!

🩰 Classics Event Day Two 🩰
Well done to all our dancers who performed yesterday at day two of the South Coast Dance Festival, you all did an amazing job and should be proud of yourselves!

⭐️ Matilda and Beth performed their beautiful new ballet solos.
⭐️ Gracie performed her first character solo!
⭐️ Cassie, Beth, Poppy, Matilda and Hattie all lit up the stage with their lyrical solos.
⭐️ Hattie placed 2nd for her own choreography & lyrical solo and 3rd for her contemporary solo.
⭐️ Beth confidently took on the improvisation challenge placing 4th!
⭐️ Beth and Matilda performed their character dances.
⭐️ Cassie and Matilda performed their new lyrical duet beautifully.
⭐️ Sophie danced her ballet solo and won the trophy for 15+ highest score with her stunning own choreography solo!

⭐️ Mini Group placed 3rd in their first time performing together!
⭐️ Amelie performed her character dance with beautiful expression and sincerity.
⭐️ Lower Senior Group placed 2nd with their new lyrical dance.
⭐️ Lottie danced her lyrical solo beautifully.
⭐️ Beth and Poppy placed 2nd with their new ballet duet.
⭐️ Upper Senior Group danced their new lyrical piece beautifully receiving a great score.
⭐️ Sophie danced her lyrical and contemporary solo, placing 1st in 15+ lyrical.

Amelie has successfully auditioned for Fareham Live’s panto this year, Jack and the Beanstalk! 🎭✨

She will be starting rehearsals shortly, and we cannot wait to support her throughout this amazing opportunity!

Miss Holly is a passionate and caring teacher & choreographer with a degree in Musical Theatre and Cabaret Performance and a PGC in Higher Education Dance Teaching. Holly is also currently completing her DDE with the ISTD. Since graduating Holly has worked on a variety of projects as a teacher and choreographer, as well as working professionally as a vocalist with credits including the uk tour of A Christmas Carol the Concert and on holiday parks across the south coast. You may have also spotted Holly in various tv adverts as a supporting artist - including ads for Lloyd’s bank, Money Supermarket and World of Tanks. Holly also currently works as a choreographer for musical theatre courses at the University of Chichester. Holly adores teaching the students at Studio Unique and loves to see them learn new skills, build friendships and develop their confidence!

✨ Celebrating Our Wonderful Students! ✨

Over the summer, two of our Studio Unique students, Poppy and Cassie, took part in the wonderful production of Peter Pan at Fareham Live! 🧚‍♀️🏴‍☠️

Miss Holly was lucky enough to go along and watch them perform, and we couldn’t be prouder of them both! ❤️

It was fantastic to see all their hard work, commitment and talent shine on stage. What an amazing achievement to take part in such a wonderful production during their summer holidays!

A huge well done, Poppy and Cassie! 🌟 We are incredibly proud of you both and can’t wait to see what you achieve next! 💙🤍

✨ STUDENT SUCCESS! ✨

We are so incredibly proud of our Studio Unique student Sophie, who has had some amazing opportunities come her way this year! 💙

Earlier this year, Sophie successfully auditioned for a place on the 6th Form Dance Course at DanceBox Studios & Theatre Works in Milton Keynes — a specialist dance college offering pre-vocational training.

Sophie recently spent an amazing week at their pre-vocational intensive, and we’re delighted that she will be starting her training at DanceBox this September! 🩰✨

Even more excitingly, Sophie will still be very much part of the Studio Unique family, continuing to train with us on the days she’s not at Dance Box 💙

Sophie has also successfully auditioned for a place on the Philip Birchall Associates Programme — a fantastic commercial dance intensive in London, taking place one Sunday each month. 🔥

What an incredible achievement, Sophie! We are so proud of your hard work, dedication and determination, and we cannot wait to see where your training takes you next.

Bex is a passionate and dedicated performing arts teacher at Studio Unique, with a first class BA (Hons) in Teaching Musical Theatre and a DDE with the ISTD, which she is currently completing. She is also studying for a SCITT with PGCE, specialising in teaching dance in secondary schools.
Alongside her teaching, Bex runs her own theatre school and has extensive production experience, with credits including Matilda, Girlfriends, Grease and Titanic, among many others. She trained at the London Ballet Academy and other local schools across a wide range of dance styles, musical theatre and performing arts.
Bex also holds national and international championship titles in baton twirling. Her varied training and professional experience allow her to inspire students to develop their confidence, creativity and performance skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
