🚧 IMPORTANT NOTICE: A423 Weekend Road Closure & Traffic Management 🚧

As part of the HS2 project, EKFB is preparing to realign the A423 over the new railway line, connecting a newly built bridge to the existing road network. To support this, they’ll be widening the plant crossing to allow larger earth-moving vehicles to begin constructing the approach roads this summer.

To carry out this work safely, the following traffic measures will be in place:

🔴 FULL WEEKEND ROAD CLOSURE
📅 From 8pm Friday 9 May to 6am Monday 12 May 2025
🚗 The A423 will be closed 24 hours a day during this period.

🟡 SINGLE LANE TRAFFIC WITH TEMPORARY LIGHTS
📅 From Monday 12 May to Friday 23 May 2025
🚦 Single lane traffic managed by temporary lights, 24 hours a day.

ℹ️ These dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions and local authority approvals.

Please plan your journeys in advance and follow all signage in place.

📢 Freelance Groom Needed – This Weekend! 📍 British Showjumping Area 30 Show at Dallas Burston Polo Club

We're looking for a freelance groom for this weekend to assist with:

🐴 6 easy, well-mannered horses
👥 Working alongside another experienced staff member
🏇 Supporting 2 riders
🧽 Usual show duties: feeding, mucking out stables, grooming, tack cleaning, and more

Ideally suited for someone local to Dallas Burston Polo Club and confident around horses. Friendly environment and well-organised setup!
