I LOVE the tiny details on this cake! Carol loves her gardening and doing crosswords and puzzles on her iPad. So along with some miniature North County Mule sheep (a breed she used to keep), we combined them all in one design. With a teeny tiny, hand drawn crossword on the tablet on top of the cake wishing Carol a happy birthday.

Chocolate Overload Cake

This was the beastie of a cake that I made for my husband's 60th birthday. His one request was 'chocolate cake', so I decorated it with some of his favourite chocolates. There were a few days of celebrations and we did go out for dinner with a few friends and family. With the cake accompanying the desserts (those that had them). Boy did we need a nap afterwards! 😴😴😴

This cake was to celebrate a wonderful mum, grandma, greatgran (and friend to a lot of people). Including her favourite flowers - yellow roses, wisteria, two of her dogs, Kodi and Indy and a nod to her love of music. The cake itself was a favourite of hers - lemon, filled with lemon buttercream and homemade lemon curd.

Phyllis was a wonderful lady who will quite definitely be missed by a lot of people.

I got to create this marvellous two tier, quilted jacket cake for Golak's 16th birthday last weekend. A Biscoff top tier & a salted caramel bottom tier, I think it looked fabulous with all the gold decoration!

I always say, with each cake I make, that I loved making them. And that is always true. I love what I do. But this cake, quite definitely has been my ULTIMATE favourite cake of all time.

Sam and Emily both run a farm so asked for their animals to be included in their wedding cake. I was sent an AI generated design idea by the lovely couple along with photos of both of their working border collie, their adorable old cat, their sheep, horse and even some of their machinery they use around the farm. Each tier of this cake I spent hours painting. (And I could have spent even longer given half a chance). It was delivered and set-up at the beautiful Kelham House Country Manor.

Top Tier - Lemon sponge filled with homemade lemon curd and lemon buttercream.
Middle Timer - Strawberry & Cardamom Sponge filled with cardamom buttercream and strawberry jam.
Bottom Tier - Chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream.

All covered in The Sugarpaste fondant and painted with Sugarflair food colouring paste.

Personalised cake toppers supplied by the couple.
