What a fantastic day at Kirkliston Gala 2026 on 13th June!

MTSS Group Ltd were proud to provide the complete stage and audio infrastructure for the event, delivering:

🔹 40ft x 20ft LiteDeck stage
🔹 2 x Nexo P12 main PA speakers
🔹 2 x Nexo L15 subwoofers
🔹 4 x Nexo PS10 delay speakers
🔹 1 x Nexo NXAmp 4x2 amplifier
🔹 2 x Sennheiser EW-DX wireless handheld microphones
🔹 Allen & Heath SQ-6 digital mixing console
🔹 Extensive cabling and DDA cable ramp infrastructure

The biggest milestone for us though? ⚡

For the first time ever, we powered the entire production directly from our new Ford E-Transit battery system, eliminating the need for a generator. After more than 6 hours of continuous operation, the system had only used 6% of the van's battery capacity.

Not only did this significantly reduce noise on site, but it also demonstrated how modern event production can be delivered in a more environmentally responsible way without compromising on performance.

A huge thank you to the Kirkliston Gala Committee, volunteers, performers and everyone who attended. We're already looking forward to next year!

🔌 A New Addition to the MTSS Fleet 🚐⚡

We're pleased to announce the latest addition to the MTSS Group fleet – a new Ford E-Transit, helping us continue to reduce the environmental impact of our operations while improving the service we deliver on site.

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, the E-Transit allows us to significantly reduce emissions when travelling to and from events, productions, installations and client sites. Combined with careful route planning, rechargeable battery systems and our continued investment in energy-efficient equipment, this is another step towards a greener future for the events industry.

One of the standout features is Ford Pro Power Onboard, providing up to 2.3kW of usable power directly from the vehicle. This allows us to power tools, charge equipment and support smaller site operations without the need to run a separate generator – reducing fuel consumption, noise pollution and emissions on site. We can even power a small setup of our new nexo speakers from it for over 12 hours for small community events.

For many projects, this means:
✅ Reduced carbon footprint
✅ Lower noise levels during setup and breakdown
✅ Less reliance on fossil fuel generators
✅ Improved efficiency for smaller events and installations
✅ Cleaner and more sustainable event delivery

New kit arrival at MTSS Group Ltd!

We've expanded our audio inventory with the addition of an Allen & Heath ME personal monitoring system, including ME-1 personal mixers, an ME-U hub and a Dante interface card.

This system allows performers, presenters and musicians to take control of their own monitor mixes, improving on-stage monitoring while reducing the workload on engineers. With Dante integration, the system can be deployed quickly and efficiently across a wide range of events and digital mixing desks.

Whether it's a live band, theatre production, conference or festival stage, the ME system provides flexible and reliable personal monitoring exactly where it's needed.

We're continuing to invest in professional equipment to expand the services we can offer our clients and deliver even better event experiences.

📦 More New Kit Landing at MTSS Group Ltd! 🎛️

It’s been a busy couple of weeks at MTSS HQ with new equipment arriving almost daily, and the latest addition to the inventory is an Allen & Heath DX168 digital stage box.

The DX168 digital stage box has 16 XLR inputs and 8 XLR outputs, this adds to our existing audio infrastructure, giving us even greater flexibility when delivering live events, conferences, festivals, weddings and corporate productions.

Connected via Allen & Heath’s reliable dSNAKE protocol, the DX168 allows us to position inputs and outputs exactly where they’re needed on site, reducing cable runs, speeding up installation times and helping to keep event spaces safer and tidier.

Whether it's a single microphone for a speech, a full live band setup, or a complex multi-zone event, investing in equipment like this helps us continue delivering professional, reliable audio solutions for our clients.

It's certainly been an expensive couple of weeks, but we're looking forward to putting all this new kit to work on upcoming projects! 🚚🎤🎚️
