If there was anything that sums me up best it’s the newly arrived ‘Love Cats’ beautifully hand stiched by I want to take them all home, unfortunately Gillian who makes them would probably chase me if I asked for more so soon, but sorely tempted!!! Sooooo worth the wait, the face on pic 3 😂😂x Read the fun facts, incredible amount of work. The other stunning pieces are from local artist Charlotte Holland again beautifully hand crafted and here in South Queensferry. It’s great we still have choices❤️

I was kept busy this week with wedding flowers, the beautiful bride had red shoes, a red hat, flowing blond hair and red flowers ❤️ lots of new goodies in the shop from and my favourite circus collection from not to my the beautiful market bag from which I snaffled, but more to come! Have a peaceful weekend x

Probably the most beautiful shop in the world!!! I think so anyway 💕 apologies for being quiet here, I’ve been ill and just been staggering from day to day, on the mend now! Looking forward to bringing a dried flower offering here in SQ and lots of new pieces made in the uk, something close to my heart. In the meantime I hope you have a wonderful week x

Shop window flowers, wild foxgloves from the garden, cow parsley from the hedge rows and hesperis from sometimes you need to go full circle to realise what you love 😂 thank you for everyone that popped into the shop your support is incredible 🥰

Morning sunlight on the last gift, the request was nothing formal or funereal, just gentle. Lots of bobbing flowers, my favourite, the pheasant’s eye daffs, they came from the garden they are always last of the daffs to flower.

Special birthday flowers for today! I thought it was a good opportunity to square off where I’m at with flowers. The footfall here in SQ was not sufficient enough to have flowers permanently in the shop. It has led me down the route of doing bigger pieces such as wedding and funeral arrangements. I have been able to fulfill smaller requests because they have been around the same time I’m doing a bigger piece. For example somebody has ordered buttonholes this week which I could do, because I happen to have a wedding at the same time. It’s not ideal but the only solution for the time being. I will have flowers in the shop from time to time……..because I love flowers!! Have a wonderful weekend x

I had to break the one post a week rule to congratulate Elaine and William on their wedding day. After many years together they finally decided to get married at their favourite venue, Prestonfield House, even the resident peacock came to inspect the proceedings and shout at me, probably about my parking and dirty wee car! Those that know me well, will have either heard about Elaine or met her when she pops into the shop to check in. She means the world to me and has helped me navigate through the most troubling time of my life. Being her florist has been a great honour ### next post will be from Julie with pictures of new goodies arriving tomorrow, you have been shouting on curly Parsley from hydro - herb, it’s in transit x
