After an extremely busy ( and hot) 🥵 couple of days out selling, I’m not going out today.
After I had finished at the flyover yesterday, although I would much rather have gone home and spend the afternoon sitting in my own garden, I went to the nursery to water 💦.
Very hot in the greenhouses, but although it’s a lot of very long hours, )mostly well over 12 hour days on my feet) at the moment, ( the same in May every year!) I’ve got a lovely range of plants growing on, to keep me going into the autumn , and everything is growing very nicely.
I need to make sure that nothing dries out completely, otherwise I’ll lose the developing buds and flowers for the coming weeks.
It’s also much more difficult to get things wet again once they’ve dried out.
Today, I’m going there for a while to pot up / repot some more plants 🌱 🪴and also 💦 again .
My veg have been selling well, and I soaked some more seeds on Thursday Friday, and today they’re already sending out roots, so I’m going to plant those.
Sweetcorn, cucumber, dwarf and climbing french beans , courgettes, so no rest for me today ! 🤣🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Hopefully, these will be ready for selling in cell trays in a couple of weeks 🤞
