Unfortunately, I’m. Not going to get to Broadwater Green tomorrow.
It’s taking me longer than expected to get all of my bulbs packed.
I had is problem getting to the Nursey on Thursday and Friday , due to traffic , so I’m a bit behind schedule.
Weather forecast is mixed this week, but if it’s dry, I’m planning on going to Ford on Thursday and Saturday and to Shoreham Flyover on Sunday with my bulbs and a selection of Plants

Due to today's prolonged rain leaving wet ground conditions plus multiple forecasts suggesting possibility of showers tomorrow morning we are CANCELLING this Sunday's (30th Aug) sale.

Our next scheduled sale will be on Sunday 6th September

PLEASE NOTE This doesnt affect the number of sales we will hold. We aim to have 2 more sales before the end of the season.

I’m not at Ford this morning, I’m sorting out my bulbs. 🌷🪻🌼
Yesterday, my pallet of bulbs arrrived.
Most things are there, but I still have a few things which I’m waiting for.
The quality of the bulbs looks as good as they usually are. It takes me a while to print all the labels off and to count and pack the bulbs , but I’m hoping to have them ready for selling at the weekend.
Weather permitting (Although it’s not looking very promising at the moment🌧️)
I will be at Shoreham Flyover on Sunday and Broadwater Green on Monday.
My son is off travelling again, so won’t be out selling, as I have a. Gatwick airport ✈️run to do on Saturday .
The flyover was very busy again last Sunday. It was sold out again , and extremely busy with buyers. When it’s so busy, it’s impossible to get any sort of signal there , so I can’t post anything while I’m there.

Today we have family visiting from Oz 🇦🇺,
so I’m not at Ford this morning,
but will be at Shoreham Flyover tomorrow.
After another extremely hot week, well over 40C in the greenhouses, it’s made it very challenging to get much done at the nursery.
Our massive wall of bamboo is really suffering from the lack of water.
I have been there in the evenings, when it’s a cooler, although yesterday, I was there at 6 pm and it was still 30C outside! And still around 23 when I went home around 9. I’ve been repotting plants which have friends and need more Space and have done lots of watering 💦💦💦 every day. All the Plants are looking good, but Flowers don’t last as long and go over much faster in the extreme heat , but I’ve managed to keep enough plants looking nice and with flowers for the flyover on Sunday . 🌺🌸🪴🌼

After a busy morning at Adur Rec. Today, I’ve been to my Nursery, watered💦💦💦everything and reloaded the van 🚛. It’s full of lots of lovely plants, 🌺🌸🪴ready now for tomorrow at Shoreham Flyover .
I’m fighting the light going now! Noticeably getting dark a lot earlier , can’t really see now after 8.30.
I’ll be at Shoreham Flyover tomorrow, next to the burger 🍔 van. It’s usually difficult to get a signal there, as it’s so busy , but il post some pictures if I get a chance

With good forecast for this Sunday 9th August, Shoreham Flyover Carboot Sale is back for more bargains and smiles.

Sellers 6.30am (NO NEED TO BOOK) / Buyers are invited 8am
IMPORTANT: NO WAITING ON THE ROAD BEFORE THE GATES ARE OPEN. If you arrive early and the gates are not open, please leave & return later when we they are unlocked.

We run every Sunday (weather permitting) through the Summer, and if we do cancel then we add on days to end of the season so nobody misses out.

SELLERS: Cars £12 (trailers + £3) / Vans £15-18
No need to book - just turn up!
No unauthorised food or drink sellers

BUYERS: Marshalled car park £3 per car before 9am /
or £2 after 9am. Please have correct change ready to help smooth entry.

Sale runs until 2pm when the field is locked, with most sellers starting to pack away at around 12.30-1pm...and YES! You can leave earlier - just let us know as you arrive that you want to leave early and we will put you somewhere easy to move off from.

We are the ONLY car boot sale in Sussex that is run by a tiger (Boots seen here hanging out with a bew friend)

SELLERS: Want to set up away from all the early buyers? Our site is open plan, so it is not possible to stop early buyers coming in, however if you'd like a quieter set up we can place you in part of the field away from the early buyers to give you a little more early peace and quiet. Ask as you come in & we will do our best to accomodate. ALSO If you plan to leave early, let us know when you arrive, and we will place you somewhere where it is easy to move off from.

Well behaved dogs (on leads) are welcome, with dog waste bin and water bowls provided by the toilet blocks.

Please do not leave dogs in cars, especially on hot days
We have toilets including a disabled access toilet which are all regularly checked and cleaned throughout the day.

We have cooked to order hot food, hot & cold drinks, slushies etc from Nic & Ben, an ice cream van, a freshly squeezed orange juice stand, a bespoke coffee vendor and 2 fruit stalls as well as inflatable bouncy castle amusements.

We are located just off the A27, on the A283 going towards Steyning, approx Post code BN43 5FD
