A bit of a frustrating weekend of weather! 💦☀️💦☀️. The plants don’t mind the rain, but it means that the customers don’t come out to buy, so it’s not economic to pay for a stall when it’s not busy.
On a positive note, there are still 2 car boot sales left at Shoreham Flyover. I am expecting some of my bulbs 🌷🌼 to arrive on weds , so I shall have them for sale there twice this year .
The Bellis seem to have grown already , so I might take a few trays out with me next time I go out to sell, and the Chrysanths are just beginning to show some buds .
At the moment, the forecast for next weekend is good, so This week, I am planning on going to
Broadwater Green on Saturday
Shoreham Flyover on Sunday
I’ll need Thursday this week to sort my bulbs out and get them counted and bagged up.

Family birthday 🎂 celebrations today, so I’m not at ford, as we’re going to Norfolk.
Not sure about the weekend at the moment, as the weather looks unsettled.
Busy day at the nursery yesterday traying up Bellis and pansies

I’m at a lovely sunny Broadwater Green Car Boot sale.
Organisers today know what they’re doing and everything is as it usually is. 😊
Plenty of sellers and buyers here.
I’m next to the cordoned off cricket square , fire station side , but my van 🚛 is easy to spot .

Busy day at Flyover yesterday.
Went to the nursery, watered and reloaded, ready for Broadwater Green this morning.
Hopefully, the recent be the same issues getting on as last time 🤞

I’m at another very busy Shoreham Flyover car boot sale. Completely full of sellers again, and lots of buyers.

Dahlias are giving lots of colour today, along with the planted pots and scabious etc.

I also have hardy climbers, honeysuckle, clematis, passion flowers, solanums, jasmine etc . Mostly in 2 litre pots @£7.50 on 3 ft canes, also a few larger ones @£10 and Thunbergias in various colours @£5.
At the moment, I’m planning to go to Broadwater Green tomorrow. I’ve contacted the organisers and there are no ‘special rules’ about arriving at a certain time etc. so I should be able to get on ok. 🤞

I’m at Adur Rec car boot sale today .
I’m at the far end ( Dog’s Trust end) towards the road .
I’ve got lots of lovely planted pots and Dahlias @£5 and lots of late summer colour.
Tomorrow I will be at Shoreham Flyover .
I haven’t made a decision about Monday yet

Very busy at Shoreham Flyover again.
Full with sellers and lots of buyers .
Only 3 more sales here this year after today.
Last sale will be on 7th September if no more are cancelled.
I’ve still got some lovely plants for late summer colour and filling those gaps with a new plant.

I’m at Ford this morning.
Cloudy sky , so not too hot for looking round the car boot sale.
This is my last Saturday visit here for about a month.
The next 3 Saturdays there are Car boot sales at Adur Rec and Broadwater
I’ve still got plenty of colour to keep you going for another few months .
Dahlias and Begonias etc. usually keep on flowering right up until November . Last year, they were still looking lovely in December.
Tomorrow, I will be at Shoreham Flyover.
