🏆 We’ve celebrated our team. Now it’s time to celebrate Laura. 🏆

Over the years, Gourmet Foods has been incredibly proud to receive recognition and awards for what we do as a team. Every single one of those achievements belongs to the people who make Gourmet what it is.

But this one feels a little different.

Our Head Chef and Director, Laura, has been nominated for Business Woman of the Year at the Birmingham Awards — and we couldn’t be more proud of her. ❤️

Laura is quite simply our rock.

She is the person we can rely on, the person who keeps pushing forward and, somehow, the person who always seems to find another gear when everyone else thinks there’s nothing left in the tank.

She gives 110% even when she’s only got 50% left to give.

Her resilience, persistence, passion and drive don’t just keep her moving forward — they drive all of us forward. And when our team moves forward, Gourmet Foods moves forward with us.

But what makes Laura so special isn’t just what she achieves. It’s the way she supports the people around her. She is there for her team just as much as we are there for her. She genuinely wants to see the people around her succeed, grow and be proud of what we create together.

And underneath all of that determination and drive is a golden heart and a genuine desire to take her team and Gourmet Foods to the absolute heights of what they can be.

We’ve had the privilege of celebrating plenty of achievements together as a team — but now we think it’s Laura’s turn to have some recognition of her own. ❤️

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Gourmet Foods has been named Hospitality Business of the Year 2026 AND received the award for Excellence in Event Catering Experiences 2026 at the Midlands Enterprise Awards! 🥂

To receive one award would have been incredible, but to be recognised with two means so much to us.

Laura, Chef-Director of Gourmet Foods, said:
