Stewards play a vital role in ensuring events are safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone involved. As part of the development of a new national training programme from the BE Training Foundation, we are inviting anyone interested in becoming a BE steward to join an introductory webinar to learn more about the role and the pathway into stewarding.
This session is designed to give a realistic insight into what stewards do, the responsibilities they hold, and the support and development available to those who wish to become involved. Whether you are a competitor, owner, volunteer, official from another discipline, or simply someone who is passionate about eventing and wants to give something back to the sport, this webinar will help you decide whether stewarding could be for you.
The session will also introduce the new development pathway, which focuses on practical experience, mentoring, and ongoing support rather than traditional classroom testing.

- The skills and qualities that make a great steward
- The training and support available
- What to expect from the new training pathway
