🌟 608 Equine Vets Diddy One Day Event 🌟

Join us on 6th June for the next fun and friendly day of eventing, perfect for riders looking to gain confidence, enjoy a relaxed competition atmosphere and have a great day out with their ponies 🐴💫

With classes from 40cm – 70cm, our Diddy One Day Event is ideal for young riders, first-time eventers and those wanting an encouraging introduction to the sport.

Even more exciting… the TOP 10 in each class will qualify for our Championship Show in September! 🏅

We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a fantastic day of riding, smiles and plenty of Diddy Eventing fun 💚

A huge thank you to Yeti for sponsoring the Bun Run at Solihull Horse Trials this weekend! 🙌

Not only did they keep the refreshments cool for our amazing volunteers, but they also generously provided a fantastic prize for one of our hardworking team members.

Congratulations to Justine, who has been helping everything run smoothly from the XC Control Box all weekend, on winning the Yeti prize! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful to all our volunteers for their dedication and to Yeti for supporting them throughout the event.

Mitch and the team have been working really hard to ensure the going is good for this weekend’s British Eventing event! There was some much welcomed rain overnight and we’ve been aggravating and will be watering the ground ahead of the weekend 🚜🌧️ We look forward to welcome everyone to Solihull Riding Club in a few days time 🤩🐴

The second 608 Equine Vets Diddy One Day Event is nearly upon us. If you want to enter, please do so as soon as possible. Entries close on Thursday, 4th June at 10am and courses will be open to walk from 2pm on Friday, 5th June.

Our first British Eventing fixture of the year takes place this weekend (30th & 31st May) 🐴

Please be aware there will be heavy machinery and course preparation taking place around the site.

🐶 Dogs must be kept on leads AT ALL TIMES during events, and we kindly ask dog walkers to do the same whenever you see machinery is operating on site.

⛔ Please also do not remove or move any rope, tape, or course markings.

Events Administrator – Solihull Riding Club

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Administrator to join our friendly team at Solihull Riding Club 💛

This is a busy and varied role supporting the running of competitions, training and events at our beautiful 160-acre countryside site.

✨ The role includes:
• Event and competition administration
• Managing bookings and enquiries
• Liaising with third-party hirers
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the office

✨ We’d love to hear from someone who:
• Is organised and proactive
• Communicates confidently
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Is flexible and hands-on
• Has an interest in the equine world (desirable)

🕒 Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Weekend working included on a rota basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the equestrian industry and become part of a supportive team.

Entries are OPEN and we’re looking forward to a fantastic weekend of eventing, friendly competition and plenty of Cotswold Cup excitement. Our grounds team have been working really hard to make sure the going is perfect for our competitors! 🤩
