What a wonderful concert to end nearly 40 years of music making by Chanterelle. We had to include the Lord Mayor of Solihull in our final photo.

Lovely last ever *sob* rehearsal at Lyndon Methodist Church yesterday. It was great to go back!
The church has undergone a transformation since we last sang there. All the pews have gone, to be replaced by much more comfortable chairs and the floor has been carpeted.
The Christmas tree arrived during the rehearsal so with luck it will form the backdrop to our final concert this Saturday. We hope you’ll come along and support us.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Chanterelle Ladies' Choir will cease to exist from January 2020.
It is particularly sad because 2020 would have marked the choir's 40th anniversary - 40 years of friendship and generosity. Over the years we have raised well over £44,000 for a variety of charities.
We are keen to make our final concert on Saturday December 7th 2019 @ 7.30pm a celebration of all that has been good about the choir over the last 40 years and hope that you will come along and support us. Our charity this year is Solihull Mind.
Any Ladies or Children's choirs that need some of music, please get in touch!

Rehearsals are well underway for our Christmas concert on Saturday 7th December. If you’re thinking of joining a ladies choir, it’s not too late to join us! Just turn up at 9.30 am on Wednesday morning at St James’s Church Hall in Shirley. See you there! 🙂

The choir's first rehearsal after the summer break has been postponed until Wednesday 11th September. We'll be starting at 9.30am. We would be delighted to welcome any new members - just come along on the day!
