We found this private chef online to support my mum, who lives in an independent living care home in Solihull following a stroke, and I honestly can’t recommend him highly enough.

He delivered freshly cooked meals twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays), covering both lunches and dinners. Everything arrived beautifully packaged, clearly labelled, and with simple, easy-to-follow heating instructions and a menu for the week — which made such a difference for my mum as she was relearning how to use the oven and microwave.

The food itself was absolutely delicious, with a great variety — from homemade soups and lighter meals to more substantial evening dishes (both vegetarian and meat options), and even freshly made puddings like lemon drizzle with custard. Mum genuinely looked forward to every delivery and was so happy with the quality.

As a family, this service was invaluable. It took away the stress of trying to coordinate shopping trips or meal planning, and it also gave us a lovely way to connect with mum — we could chat with her about what she’d eaten, which became a real point of interaction.

The chef was always reliable, never let us down, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with kind, friendly, and thoughtful in every detail.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality, dependable meal service for a loved one.

Excellent service. Chef Rhett corresponded promptly regarding the menu and communicated well as I’d booked it in September for December. Arrived punctually, great food, and cleaned up! Absolutely the best experience. Highly recommend.
