👋 A little hello to all our new followers…

We’ve had quite a few new faces following us recently, so I thought it was probably time I introduced myself properly.

I’m Cirian-Marie, owner and florist at Bramble Bees Florist 🌿🐝

I opened Bramble Bees Florist six years ago, days before during lockdown, after a brain injury which meant I could no longer continue in the NHS role I’d known for so many years. I’m actually a Registered Dietitian of almost 30 years — so floristry was quite a change of direction!

What started as a new path has grown into an independent florist and gift shop at Manor Farm, Earlswood Solihull.
We really are a family run business as the lovely hubby Mikul & daughter Ella are very much part of Bramble Bees still buzzing about - as is Naomi.

And I absolutely love what we now do.

I’m very much a real local florist - I have lived in Dickens Heath for over 15 years so even if closed on a Sunday & Monday I’ll always pop into the shop if you need flowers 😊
I choose the flowers, make the bouquets, meet my wedding & funeral couples and families, answer the messages and, quite often, you’ll find me surrounded by flowers wondering how on earth the shop became quite so messy. 😂

I know it’s only August… but our Christmas Wreath Workshop dates are ready!

Before I put them live on the website (bramblebeesflorist.co.uk), on 1st September, I wanted to give our customers, previous workshop attendees and everyone who follows Bramble Bees Florist on here first chance to book the dates they want.

We’ve got over 15 workshops planned this year, including:

🐝. Bramble Bees Florist (our shop!) at Manor Farm
🐂. The Bull’s Head, Earlswood
🦆 The Mallard, Tidbury Green – the brand new pub opening soon!

And for this early release, places are £65 per person.

These a all florist-run workshops. We start with the wreath base, you’ll moss it yourself and then build your wreath with lots of fresh foliage and oodles of Christmas decorations - you choose. Then choose from over 15 different coloured & patterned ribbon to make your bow.
Everything is included – all refreshments, (mince pies of course) you just need to turn up, have a lovely time and go home with a freshly made, long-lasting wreath you’ve made yourself - full of decorations, Christmas cheer & most likely a bit of glitter & sprinkle of snow dust ❄️

Come with friends, family, make it your Christmas get-together, or book a place as a Christmas present for someone. 🎁

The dates go out to everyone from 1st September, so if you want first choice, message/WhatsApp me now and I’ll send you the dates and get you booked in.

I got married Hogarths Hotel & Restaurant 2024 - the most stunning venue and lovely staff - i’ve put a picture here of my bouquet (I did my own obv!) and love all flowers so could hardly carry my bouquet once finished 😳

Few days off to celebrate daughters birthday 🎈🎉🎈

Superb couple of days x I made a cake !
So very proud of myself - only took me (in total) 7 hrs on Saturday, occasional meltdowns (me, not the cake) and 1 desperate ‘MIKUL I need to go shopping quick!’
Leopard print cake was the picture - I got this , I decided last Friday thinking I’d just create something that was just a go. Then I really quite got stuck in.
How you chaps do this as a professional - blimey you must have the skills of a neurosurgeon!

It tasted great and was ‘a cake’
Job done ta-dah !!

Ella wrote on it, hence ‘me’ as I my attempts did not read well 🤣😳🤣

I’m going to stick to Bramble Bees Florist !!
