🎉 FIVE YEARS TODAY! 🎉

Five years ago today, we opened the doors to our Soft Play Centre at Kelpatrick Road! 💜💙💛

Where has that time gone?! 🥹

We are so incredibly grateful to every single one of you who has walked through our doors over the last five years. Whether you’ve visited once, celebrated a birthday with us, come along every week, or simply recommended us to a friend — thank you! ❤️

Running a small business has the most amazing highs, along with some hard lows, and wow… it really is hard work! 😅 But thankfully, we have the most amazing team alongside us, and we genuinely couldn’t do it without them. 🥰

We will keep doing what we love, welcoming families through our doors and creating memories for the children — and we hope you’ll all continue on this journey with us. 🎈✨

Here’s to the next chapter of Big on Bouncing! 🥂

With love and thanks,
Wayne & Karen ❤️

💙 DON’T TAX CHILDREN’S PLAY 💙

We’re asking our lovely customers for just 30 seconds of your time to
support something we really believe in. 🥺

There’s currently a petition calling for children’s indoor play centres to
be zero-rated for VAT. If you have a moment, we’d really appreciate you
signing it:

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/777837

You might not realise it when you book a visit to Big on Bouncing, but 20%
VAT is currently added to our admission prices — meaning a chunk of what you
pay for your child’s play goes straight to the Government.

As a small business, we work really hard to keep our prices as affordable
as we possibly can for families. We know how quickly the cost of taking the
children out can add up, and we genuinely don’t believe that children simply
having somewhere safe to play should be treated as a luxury. 💙

Play is SO much more than just fun. It’s where children run, climb,
explore, imagine, make friends, build confidence and learn how to interact
with others. It’s a huge part of being a child. 🧸🛝

That’s why we’re supporting the Association of Indoor Play (AIP) and their
campaign to remove VAT from children’s indoor play.

If you agree, please take 30 seconds to sign the petition. And if you can,
please share this post too — the more people who see it, the better. 💙

We’ve also put posters up around the centre if you’d like to have a look
when you’re next in.

DON’T TAX CHILDREN’S PLAY! 📢

Because play isn’t a luxury.
It’s childhood. ❤️

💙 WHAT A SUMMER IT HAS BEEN! 💙

A HUGE thank you to every single one of you who has visited Big on Bouncing over the summer holidays! ☀️🎉

It has been an EXTREMELY busy summer, and we’ve loved seeing so many of you enjoying the centre! 🥰

And for those of you who have kept Wayne and our amazing team on their toes with what has been a crazy summer of bouncy castle hiring… THANK YOU! 🏰🎈😂

We genuinely couldn’t do any of this without our amazing team. ❤️ They have worked incredibly hard throughout the summer, both at the centre and out on our bouncy castle hires, and we appreciate every single one of them! 👏🏼

We’ve also been busy at the Centre adding a few little extras for our little people! 🌈✨

🎨 Our NEW Creative Area is now open for term time, giving the children a chance to get creative and enjoy some different activities during their visit.
👀 Please note: children using the Creative Area must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.

🏰 And we’ve also got a New Disco Curved Bounce and Slide Castle in place for the children to enjoy! 🎉

So, if you haven’t been to see us for a while, or you’re yet to visit, make sure you book in and come and see us soon! 💙

Hi all, today we’re sharing this important press release from the Association of Indoor Play because the proposed business rates hike could have a serious impact on indoor play centres like us.
We would like to think that we are more than just a place to bounce — we’re a safe, happy space where children burn off energy, build confidence, make friends, and where families come together all year round. We’re proud to be part of our local community, supporting parents, children, and local jobs.
Every visit, party booking, and coffee bought helps keep our doors open and allows us to continue doing what we love — giving children a place to play, laugh and be kids.
Thank you for supporting Big on Bouncing 💛 Your support truly keeps us going, please make sure you book in to see us soon.
