On September 19, American college football came to Wembley Stadium for the very first Union Jack Classic, with the Kansas Jayhawks taking on the Arizona State Sun Devils. And in college football, the party before the game matters almost as much as the game itself.

We were proud to look after the Jayhawks' tailgate party at Hilton London Wembley, where around 800 fans filled the main ballroom before the celebrations spilled over into the hotel's Icons Bar & Grill.

We took care of sound for the live band, The Brightoneers, which played the ballroom through a Dynacord Cobra front-of-house PA and Yamaha digital mixers. With three separate spaces full of fans, though, the music couldn't stop at the ballroom doors. Using Dante audio networking, we sent the band's live music to Yamaha digital mixers located in the other two rooms, so every guest heard the same show wherever they were, with no audio cabling run between the spaces.

Not every event happens in a ballroom.

For the Westminster Property Association's Planning for Growth in Westminster panel, the venue was Thirty High in Victoria, Landsec's redevelopment of the former Portland House.

Guests gathered on a site in its final stages of redevelopment, with views out across London, to hear how development and growth are shaping the capital.

We provided the stage, PA, and an 85-inch screen behind the panel, with our Shure digital radio mic rack and compact Yamaha DM3 consoles running the sound. It's a flexible, compact setup that's ideal for unusual or challenging spaces like this one, where a conventional venue install isn't an option.

When the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 panel came to the Courtyard by Marriott London Heathrow, Conference Craft was commissioned to provide expert technical support.
