Here we go… Our CHRISTMAS WREATH WORKSHOPS are all in the diary. Returning to local venues and new ones, we’re looking forward to welcoming in the season with you!

We will be hosting Workshops again this year Red Lion Hotel & Manor House with an evening session with complementary drink and festive bake, the chance to order festive nibbles and if you have a pass out, carry on with the packed out Pub Quiz after!

New for 2026 we’re very excited are excited to cohost a guided Workshop in the beautiful Eastburn Mill Eastburn see our previous post for all the details !

Cracoe Village Hall is up next with the option for an evening or weekend workshop

Last but not least means least and another New venue is a foraging walk up at Clapham followed by returning to the Village to create sustainable wreaths to take home, arranged by YDMT (bookings direct)

A beautiful ride into Nidderdale yesterday for a special delivery. The light was just incredible. It was so peaceful and quiet before today’s storm. The fresh cut flowers are definitely coming to the end of their season making way for berries and lush foliages 🌿
We had the first frost this week, so I’m grateful for the dried flowers bounty we’ve harvested so far x 🌸

✨WREATH MAKING WORKSHOPS ✨

Well there’s mist on the inside of our window this morning and it’s hanging in the bottom of the valley before slowly lifting to reveal a brilliant Autumn light.
But it does mean it’s time to pop some festive dates in the diary. Christmasy hook ups with friends and family, to gather & create gorgeous things, celebrating the Winter season.

With a host of different local venues we’ll have dates from late November through to the beginning of December.

The week in pictures… it’s been a busy one and the light has been magical. From our regular flower deliveries, making everlasting flowers, sourcing local squash and pumpkins for our seasonal workshop and displays from Downham Hall. More flowering. Heading to the Northern Conference held by Sustainable Church Flowers at Bolton Abbey. I’ll chat more about that next week !

Still catching up on life lately. Our girly trip home home to Northumberland in the summer hols. It’s never long enough and we had the best week by the sea. Giggly sleep overs, beach, mini golf, fish and chips. Boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the 🦭 seals, cards in the pub and making memories!

As they slowly bow out we are having the last flushes of Sunflowers. They really have been awesome this year. Hoping they might last a little longer. I get sad when their smiling faces fade for another year, they always greet me and are just joyous. Farming flowers is fleeting and reminds me of how precious each arrangement, each stem really is. Leaving plenty behind for the birds to feed from and insects to shelter. What beautiful cut flowers they make, but even better big hotels too x 🌻
