Event Volunteers of Swale are a group of volunteers who provide a professional and competent marshal service to Swale, surrounding areas and beyond. Some of our volunteers have a range of learning disabilities; we provide them the
opportunity to gain confidence in their social and communication skills while
gaining valuable practical work experience. The team are based in Sittingbourne primari
ly but will travel outside of this area to help with your Event or Organisation. We currently hold certificates for First Aiders, DBS and Street works for road closures. We are run purely by volunteers, receive no funding from the government so we solely rely on donations. Donations received are used to provide equipment for the volunteers such as
radios, uniform, radio licenses, public liability insurance and pay for any travel
expenses to and from events. We can supply you marshals to undertake the following roles:
First Responder, First Aid, First aid tent, Crowd patrol, Road closures, Car parking, Car parking signs, Parade marshals, Event management, Event site services, Traffic Control, Health & Safety Manager/Officer, Lost Child/Vulnerable Adult
