Marquee Rigger / General Labourer (Self-Employed)
Location: Isle of Sheppey, Kent
We're looking for a hardworking, reliable marquee rigger to join our growing team.
This is a physically demanding role building and dismantling marquees for weddings, corporate events, festivals and large-scale temporary structures across the UK.
What we're looking for:
Reliable and punctual.
Strong work ethic – someone who gets stuck in without being asked.
Happy working long days when required during the busy season.
Able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
Full UK driving licence preferred (towing experience an advantage).
Experience in marquees, construction, scaffolding, events or similar manual work is beneficial but not essential – attitude is more important than experience.
Duties include:
Building and dismantling marquees.
Loading and unloading lorries.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Preparing flooring, linings and furniture.
Working safely on customer sites.
Keeping the yard tidy and equipment organised.
