Position: Balloon & Event Specialist
Contract: Zero-Hour Contract (Weekend work essential)
Pay: £13 hour
Are you creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning spaces into unforgettable event experiences? We are looking for an energetic Balloon Specialist to join our growing events team!
From corporate galas to dream weddings and birthday bashes, you’ll help design, construct, and install breathtaking balloon displays and event décor both in our workshop and on-site at venues.
Key Responsibilities
Constructing balloon arches, garlands, walls, centerpieces, and custom helium displays.
Packing, loading, and safely driving our company vehicle to event venues.
On-site setup, styling, and post-event strike/dismantling.
Maintaining equipment, organizing stock, and ensuring high presentation standards.
Requirements
Age & License: Must be 25 or older (strictly required for commercial vehicle insurance purposes) with a full, clean driving license.
Flexibility: Weekend availability is non-negotiable, as most of our setups take place Friday through Sunday.
Skills: Prior experience in balloon styling or event production is highly desirable, but a strong creative eye and willingness to learn are essential.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift equipment, transport large balloon rigs, and work on your feet (or on ladders) during setups.
Attributes: Reliable, punctual, customer-focused, and calm under pressure when working against venue setup deadlines.
