🎉 Help Us Make Memories – and a Hall to Be Proud Of! 🎉

This year Shrivenham Memorial Hall turns 100 – a century of serving our village through events, sports, celebrations, and everyday community life.

To mark this milestone, we’re raising funds for some special centenary touches, like:
💛 Mementos for local schoolchildren
🌿 A new memorial garden
🎭 Prizes for the local fete
…and a few hall improvements and decorations to help make the space even more welcoming for future generations.

We know there are many wonderful causes being supported in the village right now, and not everyone is in a position to give to all of them. If you’re able to spare a donation - even a small one - it will go directly towards making our centenary meaningful and improving this much-loved space for years to come.

Shrivenham Parish Council is deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

It is confirmed that a Book of Condolences will be opened in the Barrington Room at the Memorial Hall, and will be accessible every day from 9am-7pm for those who wish to pay their respects.

Floral tributes to Her Majesty may be left on the front lawn of the Memorial Hall.
