Today Loppington WI visited Wroxeter Roman City.
Loppington WI arranges an outing to a local place of interest every year instead of our usual August meeting. 9 members and 1 guest enjoyed a private, guided tour of this fantastic, historic landmark, followed by a picnic lunch in the grounds.
I can definitely recommend visiting Wroxeter if you've not been before.

Tuesday 21st Loppington WI host a tasting evening of cheeses and local foods and drinks. A celebration of British cheese by our local resident expert DAI Williams. He will offer a brief explanation on the cheese on show and be able to answer any questions you may have.
Join us in Loppington Village Hall at 7.15pm.

Our monthly Walk & Talk group scheduled for last week was postponed due to the hot weather. We are now meeting on Thursday 2nd July at 10.30am in Loppington Village Hall Car Park. Please let us know if you will be attending, the length of the walk will be negotiated on the day depending on the weather and walker ability.

She is raising awareness of what actions to take before you arrive at your vet and so much more.

A really great evening at last nights Folk & Quiz.
Great entertainment from Steve and Julie Wigley, superb food and a short but challenging quiz.We received many compliments from our visitors.

Lovely to welcome 4 members of Ruyton WI to our Cockshutt walk today. We had mixed weather from sunshine to hail.
Delicious refreshments at the village hall coffee morning.

Our next WI Walk & Talk meeting is starting from Cockshutt Village Hall on Thursday 14th May at 10am. We will be following local footpaths across more of Shropshire's beautiful countryside. Refreshments afterwards back in Cockshutt Village Hall. Dogs on a lead are welcome. If you are interested in lovely views and plenty of chatter please contact us and we will all head off together.

The Walk & Talk group had a beautiful sunny walk from Ryton up to the Cliffe. Wendy from Ryton WI joined us. We met a few familiar faces as we walked & a few enthusiastic dogs.
Fantastic views 🥰.
