⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic evening at The Buttermarket for The Blues Rock Roadshow starring Remi Harris and Dave Small. ❤️

From the first note to the final encore, the musicianship on display was absolutely exceptional.

Remi Harris proved exactly why he’s regarded as one of the UK’s finest guitarists, delivering breathtaking solos and effortless versatility throughout the night.

Dave Small’s vocals and stage presence perfectly complemented the band, bringing the spirit of the great blues-rock legends to life.

The setlist was packed with classics from the golden era of blues and rock, with brilliant tributes to artists including Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rory Gallagher and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac.

Every song was performed with passion, energy and genuine respect for the original artists, while still allowing the band to put their own stamp on the music.

The Blues Rock Roadshow was a superb night’s entertainment from start to finish. 🎸🔥

Rude Boy Rudie: A Night of Ska Classics Reimagined.

Last evening at The Buttermarket the atmosphere was electric as Special Kinda Madness delivered an electrifying tribute to two of Britain’s most legendary ska bands—Madness and The Specials. From the moment the band took to the stage, the venue erupted into a frenzy of dance and sing-alongs, as the crowd skanked fervently through a meticulously curated setlist of timeless hits.

Highlights included rousing renditions of “One Step Beyond,” “Our House,” “Baggy Trousers,” “Ghost Town,” “A Message To You Rudy,” and “Too Much Too Young,” and closing the night with “Night Boat To Cairo”” each song galvanising the audience into a collective celebration of ska’s golden era.

The band demonstrated impressive musicianship, capturing the authentic sound and infectious energy that defined the original acts, while adding their own vibrant flair.

Special Kinda Madness’s performance was a masterclass in rhythm and charisma, seamlessly transporting attendees back to the vibrant 2 Tone movement and its cultural zeitgeist. The night was a testament to the enduring power of ska music and its ability to unite generations through its unmistakable groove.
Kudos to the band for an exceptional show, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in creating such an unforgettable night of musical celebration.

🎺🎶 One Step Beyond to a Fantastic Night of Ska Classics! 🎶🎺

Special Kinda Madness brought the party to The Buttermarket tonight with an unforgettable celebration of two of Britain's most iconic bands - Madness and The Specials.

From the moment the band hit the stage, the dancefloor was packed as the crowd sang, danced and skanked their way through a set packed with timeless favourites. Hits including One Step Beyond, Our House, Baggy Trousers, Ghost Town, A Message To You Rudy and Too Much Too Young had the whole venue bouncing from start to finish.

Capturing the energy, sound and spirit of the original bands, Special Kinda Madness delivered a performance full of infectious rhythms, sharp musicianship and non-stop entertainment that transported everyone straight back to the golden age of ska and 2 Tone.

A huge thank you to the band for another incredible show, and to everyone who joined us and created such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the night.
