it always starts so innocently…

✨ “we’ll keep it simple”
✨ “just a few cute bits”
✨ “it won’t take long”

fast forward a few hours and suddenly:

🫠 you’re deep in Pinterest
🫠 questioning every theme choice
🫠 ordering things you didn’t even know existed

then comes setup day…

moving furniture
blowing up balloons that refuse to cooperate
running out of time while the kids ask “is it ready yet??”

and the next morning?

well… we don’t talk about the next morning.

look - the sleepover itself?
magical ✨

the effort to get there?
slightly unhinged.

the eggs have been found
the sugar has been consumed
and now the children are… absolutely thriving 🫠

meanwhile I’m just trying to drink a hot cup of tea
in a room that hasn’t been turned upside down.
