Mr and Mrs Colin and Rachael!

Utterly fabulous day on Saturday. My first time at The Old Rectory in Wem, and I wasn’t disappointed, it was a fabulous place yet again for me to photograph this gorgeous couple’s wedding. I had so much fun with a completely crazy family that kept me on my toes as well as offered every help, and made me laugh, it was just a really fun day!

I really do have the best job; I know I keep saying it, but I really do! I get paid to go to parties, and meet fabulous new people and get given delicious food to eat and looked after by such generous people - I really can’t believe my luck!

I do, I do, I do, I do, I do…said Rosie and Max in Rushbury Village church on Saturday. After bridal prep at Rosie’s parent’s farm, and moving onto Norbury Village Hall for their reception, their wedding day couldn’t have been more English if they’d have tried! Or more gorgeous. Or more fun. Honestly, it was another of those days where my job was made easy; beautiful people, gorgeous weather, fabulous surroundings…it all added up to being a thing that was greater than the sum of all the parts and as ever it’s an honour to have been part of their day, and to share the biggest day of their lives so far with a couple and their family and friends. I honestly have the best job. Honestly.

These are a few samples of why I cull and edit the raw images…because there are miss-fires, miss-focussed, accidental shots, multiple identicals, and general trash. You don’t need these; you need quality, not quantity, and that’s what you’ll get!

Is it spring? Is it actually another sunny day? Dare I say that we have finally hit Spring?

It certainly looks it from the view from my office window…although my next door neighbour, Lynda, has a tree that could do with a LOT more leaves to really make it spring, but I’m planning on going for a walk with Cassie later without a coat.

Aaaaaaaanyway…talking of sunny days, here’s another sunny day from last year when Abi and Dan got married.

Dan wasn’t the most confident or comfortable in front of the camera, but I still think that he bloody nailed the portraits with his beautiful new wife Abi.
