Our groups opened in 2008 and today we are one of the leading baby and pre-school development providers in the UK. April is Stress Awareness Month and at Jiggy Wrigglers we hope we can help a little

Life is very stressful for many of us these days and although it is a natural response to the challenges and pressures we face in our daily lives, too much stress can lead to mental health conditions such as anxiety, and depression.

During Stress Awareness Month, organisations such as Mind and the Mental Health Foundation conduct campaigns designed to educate people about the effects of stress on health and offer answers for managing stress effectively.
At Jiggy Wrigglers we understand how stress can affect first-time parents for example, who might feel lonely and by encouraging them to come to one of our classes, they can meet likeminded parents and carers and enjoy some sociable time whilst their little ones are having fun and learning.

Also, unlike other childrenโ€™s entertainment businesses, our classes are on a pay-as-you-go basis, so if the stress of affording a regular class is concerning you, you can come along whenever it suits you instead.

Hoppy Easter!

Itโ€™s that time of year again when the shops are filling up with tons of yummy chocolate eggs and other goodies.

Are you planning an Easter Egg Hunt this year? If so, the following might give you some ideas about how to do one indoors:
โ€ข First up, plan your routeโ€ฆ If you have a garden and itโ€™s dry you might like to have it outside, but if not, plan where in your house you will hide the loot!
โ€ข Then, lay your cluesโ€ฆ You can buy lots of Easter Egg Hunt arrows, banners, posters etc., but you may like to make and print out your own. You can either fold up clues for the kids to find as they go, which will lead them to the goodies at the end, or leave treats as they go.

Some fun cluesโ€ฆ These can include things like:
1) somewhere cold (fridge)
2) somewhere cosy you sleep at night
3) somewhere where you wash up/do the laundry
4) what do you wear to keep warm in the cold weather? (hiding treats in a coat pocket!)
5) where do you keep your toothbrush? etc.
If you are outside of course, you can adapt it to use your garden toys such as slides, trampolines, gates, fences, sheds and flower beds.
