This week I have to do one of the most boring jobs of the year!

Stocktake 😴

So on Wednesday our doors will be closed to allow us to count every item of stock in the shop and record it accurately. It keeps my accountant happy, but not me!

There is nothing creative about it, it's just a boring job that has to be done!

So come and shop tomorrow, or, we are open Thursday, Good Friday (10-3pm) and Easter Saturday (10-3pm).

We are closed bank holiday Monday and Tuesday 7th April, back to normal on Wednesday 8th April.

I think that's everything, see you tomorrow with lots of spring flowers!

I always think this is such a lovely moment in the season.

The pinks start to appear in all their different shades, from the softest blush tones to something a little brighter, and suddenly the whole shop feels different. Fresher, lighter, and full of that spring feeling that is hard to put into words but very easy to feel.

We will be here tomorrow if you fancy a browse.

Easter is on its way, and these beautiful door wreaths are in the shop!

Eggs, feathers, bulbs, twigs and dried flowers, the only thing missing is chocolate!

But you'll be pleased to know, I ate a bag of mini eggs while I made it!

See you tomorrow for a bit of Saturday shopping, I'm in the shop from 10-4pm.

The shop settles, the lights feel softer, and it’s often the moment to pause and look around at everything that’s come and gone through the day.

This week especially it’s been a chance to reflect and feel very grateful. Thank you for keeping me so busy.

If you’d like flowers delivered on Saturday, just in time for Mother’s Day, you can place your order online until midday tomorrow.

After that the website closes so we can focus on creating all the arrangements already booked in.

The shop will still be open of course, so you’re always welcome to pop in and choose something in person.

But if you’d like to make sure something special is waiting, tomorrow morning might be the moment.

Last orders at the flower bar please!

It's the day to say thank you, I love you, you're the best, I wouldn't be what I am without you.

Mother's Day is this Sunday!

And we have the most fabulous premium flowers arriving on Thursday, I can't wait to unpack and condition them all, create all your bouquets and arrangements, and have the excuse to eat chocolate all day!

We are almost at capacity for deliveries, but there's room for a couple more! Just hop on to the website (botaniqueshrewsbury.com) and choose your mum the best flowers!

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their special flower order, you are much appreciated.

And for all those that like to come and choose, the shop will be a magical, scented, floral haven! We'll have flowers ready to go on Friday and Saturday, as well as a jam packed flower bar!
