Moment for the Mum’s💛

How stunning does Louise look in her Buttermilk silk NutMeg gown?

Fitted corset paired with the most stunning draped neckline and skirt. Cape sleeves are also such an elegant alternative to a traditional sleeve.

Loved working on this design with her, fittings were so much fun!

🤍NutMeg Bespoke Occasion 🤍For the mums that want to feel special on the big day too.

I also made the bride, Rachel’s veil however, with it being the longest veil I have made to date, that deserves its own post. ☺️

As the frost rolls in let me take you back to Kirstin’s sunny destination wedding.☀️

Gown detailed with the most stunning beaded tulle, cut, draped and hand stitched onto her corset & fading out down the length of her skirt and train. 🤍

The soft light weight fabrics are perfect for hotter climates & give a beautiful drape to the skirt.

Styled with a beautiful single tier veil….find me a cooler bride….I’ll wait 💁🏻‍♀️

Draped neckline and waist detail in a luxurious silky satin.

She looked divine, with every detail considered right down to her toes….spy her custom bows I made for her shoes in the confetti shot. 👀➡️

She also chose a beautiful scatter flower NutMeg veil to finish the look.

We had such a great time creating this together & the final gown was beautiful.

I have featured the details on Lauren’s gown before however the full gown has never graced the grid & it is too good not to share!

Absolutely stunning beaded embroidery, hand stitched into place, with pearl button detailing, long sleeves and a luxurious satin skirt.

Her veil adorned with the same gorgeous beading.

I am so happy to finally be able to start sharing all these beautiful brides and the gowns I’ve made for them over the years. 🤍 The Years since covid have been a blur of babies and sewing for me which has been amazing, but it is nice to have the time to slow down once in a while 🤍

And you can expect much more as my archives run deep! 🤣

NutMeg’s Original Queen of Halloween 🖤

Sarah married on Halloween of 2020 during all the lock down restrictions. Just this week her and David celebrated their 5 year anniversary with a big party with all thier loved ones around them. We even redesigned Sarah’s dress for the occasion - but for now here is her original gown in all its spooky glory.

Each NutMeg gown goes through a series of mock ups before getting made to make sure my brides look and feel amazing.

Every tweak, change and design decision makes for an exciting experience where you can watch your dream dress come to life with each fitting.

Amelia was so decisive with her design choices and I really enjoyed working on all those intricate details to create our vision.

Absolute perfection from the design, to the lace, to the bride.

I really enjoyed the intricate nature of this design, with hours of hand sewing spent securing beads, trimming lace and blending the floral pattern across the corset and skirt. The end result was flawless. 🤍

The V train was really special as well and we made the choice to mimic the soft V shape throughout the dress design and veil.

Amelia was a joy to work with and looked stunninggg.

If go big or go home was a bride 🤍

Using the most gorgeous beaded lace throughout, we created 2 looks in 1 with her statement overskirt removed in the evening to reveal her equally detailed party gown.

Her veils got switched out too from a dramatic lace cathedral+ length veil to a short double tier party veil at night.

In contrast to the drama of the dress design, I literally could not have asked for a more laid back bride, Helen fully trusted the process and we had so much fun creating this🤍

Arabella Redesign part 2🤍

Many may remember her gorgeous wedding gown that I redesigned years ago, however this time it was a redesign for her trip to Vegas Representing UK in Mrs World Pageant. 👸🏼

She had bought a gown from America which unfortunately had come with a lot of damage, stains, holes, missing beads and was not the advertised size.

Together we reimagined the gown, removing the dated mirror belt adding pleated front skirt panel, train and a n**e corset back. I sourced matching crystals with the instruction that more is more in the pageant world & I went to work adding 1000s of crystals across the dress and replacing missing beads ✨

With the fit now on point and row of Swarovski buttons to finish she looked incredible. 🤍
