Our George, Forever 11 💔💙
You stole our hearts from day 1 with your amazing smile, cheeky laugh and wicked sense of humour.
Everyone who met you fell in love with you instantly, you knew you had us wrapped around your little finger and you always let us know what you wanted.
I remember walking past you in school, you were having a story so I tried to sneak past, I heard you shouting because I hadn't spoken to you 😂 I was desperate for the toilet which you found hilarious as you wouldn't let me go till we'd had a chat!🥰
We're sending all our love to your family, especially Lily ❤️
You will be missed so much but will always be remembered, sweet dreams George ### 💔💙

Hi everyone,
I know it's been a while but we've had some sad news 😢
I'm sure many of you know by now but unfortunately Simon (the caretaker at our Whaley Thorns group) has passed away.
He was a big part of our Playgroup, always doing odd jobs for us and popping in for a cuppa on his breaks, the children thought he was great and we always knew when he was around as they would shout Siiiiimmmon until he waved to them 💙
I know many of you still saw him around the village and it will be a big loss not being able to wave to him on our travels.
Some of us from Playgroup will be attending Simon's funeral and we will represent all of our Happy Days families, I'm sure you'll all join us in sending love and thoughts to his family at this very sad time x

Simon Gascoigne of Shirebrook has sadly passed away aged 51 years.

The funeral will take place on Thursday 7th May, 11.15am at Mansfield Crematorium followed by reception at The Jug & Glass, Langwith.

Donations in lieu of flowers will benefit Rhubarb Farm.

GEORGE-FEST
Hi all,
We will be at Langwith Cricket Ground tomorrow raising money for an amazing little boy who has been part of our Happy Days Family for a lot of years.
Many of you will already know George and his family but if you don't, please click on the link to read all about him, George and his family are absolutely lovely and will do anything to help anyone... So now it's our turn to help them, please come along and join us, we will be doing face painting, glitter tattoos, teddy tombola and a book sale and there are many more things going on too... As always when we do fundraisers, ALL profits go straight to George so please help in any way you can ###

We will be OPEN tomorrow (Monday) at Glapwell Centre as normal 9.30-11.00, the centre isn't opening until 9.15 so we may still be setting up when you get here.
Please be aware of the red weather warning, drinks will be available xx
We will be CLOSED on Tuesday so tomorrow will be our last group 😔 please join us if possible but if you can't then look out for the meet ups through the summer ###

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***
Hi all it's Deb, we have made the difficult decision to close Happy Days, many of you know my situation at the minute and with the amount of appointments I've got coming up for William I just can't manage to run Happy Days too. Unfortunately Tracey's husband is waiting for an operation, Chelsea and Rachael have work and family commitments and I know there are many of you that would help out but I need to be able to concentrate on William for now.
Please don't think this is the end, you will see us at George-Fest and we will try and arrange some meet ups like we did before.
Happy Days has never been work for us, it's been a family, we've met some amazing people who will be friends forever 💜 so you can imagine how difficult this is, massive thanks to each and every one of you for being part of Happy Days 🥰
Next week will be our last week, we will definitely be at Glapwell on Monday 9.30-11.00, we are trying to sort out for Shirebrook on Tuesday but I do have an appointment for William so we will keep you posted on that, if we can't do next Tuesday we will arrange a 'Shirebrook Meet Up' maybe on the leisure centre field as we've done before.
