I just wanted to welcome some new followers and say thank you for doing so.

It is also a chance to reintroduce myself!

I am an experienced, independent celebrant with a background in hospitality and event management. In the last five years I have officiated at over 100 funerals, celebrated weddings in barns, by the sea, in hotels, in private gardens and formal wedding venues as well as naming ceremonies in gardens, village halls and private homes.

My self and the family were so grateful to you for turning around a very sad occasion into a very warm and friendly service. Every one who came said how lovely you were. You were like a dear friend. and it was very comforting and we are very grateful for that."

Such a heart warming message that I received on Saturday after a funeral on Friday, it means the world to me to know that the work I do to help a family through a really difficult time can bring comfort.

This anenome is called The Bride, and was a gift at a wedding last May. The tubers were wedding favours, and I am delighted that this has grown to remind me of A and E's special day. It's meaning is expectation and they are expecting baby D in June!
