Join us this Friday 14th November for a sensational evening of Jazz and Blues with Aret Komlosy, accompanied by Hugh Turner (guitar), Curtis Ruiz (bass), and Steve Wyndam (drums).

Tickets still available from the Flower House in town, or online via www.ticketsource.co.uk/townsend-hall.

Born into a richly musical family—her mother, acclaimed singer Patti Boulaye, and father, music manager Stephen Komlosy—Aret’s passion for music was nurtured by a blend of Nigerian and Hungarian heritage.

Inspired by the Louis Armstrong records her grandmother played, she developed a lifelong love for Jazz and Blues, with her unique voice echoing the timeless tones of Ella Fitzgerald, Dusty Springfield, and Billie Holiday.

Her career highlights include performances at the Royal Albert Hall (twice), London Jazz Festival, Chelsea Flower Show, Ascot Racecourse, and sharing the stage with Bryan Ferry, Peter Gabriel, and even opening for the Sugababes. Now based in Oxfordshire, Aret brings her artistry, presence, and renewed love for Jazz to stages across the UK and beyond.
