Bradford Concert Band put on a superb performance tonight at Baildon Hall.

Our next film on Tuesday 11th August is the 2025 - ‘Epic Elvis in Concert’.
Baz Luhrmann produced this from tapes from Presley's tours, and restored sound. It's sure to be of interest to all those who followed Elvis's story. It's part documentary, part concert film, and resurrects him at the peak of his showmanship.

For Tuesday 25 August, Elizabeth has secured 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' (NEWLY RELEASED)
A sequel to the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada, it sees Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci reprising their roles, joined by Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, and Kenneth Branagh. Set two decades after the events of the first film, it follows Andy Sachs (Hathaway) as she helps Miranda Priestly (Streep) navigate a new media landscape and corporate threats to the survival of Runway magazine.

As ever, film starts 7:30p.m. and the entry of £3 includes a hot drink and biscuits

It was a great honour for Baildon Hall Club to receive CAMRA Bradford Club of the year. A great tribute to the hard work of our steward Steve Barker and the excellent ale that he consistently serves.

The AGM will take place this evening from 7:30.

To maintain a suitably quiet atmosphere for the meeting, there will be no bar service whilst it is taking place, but the bar will be open before and after.

Come along and have your say in how the club is run and contribute help if you are able.

England v Argentina will be showing at the Club tonight. Come along and enjoy the atmosphere with some great beer and drinks as always.

Join us on Saturday 11 July for England v. Norway in the Quarter-Final of the FIFA World Cup.

Kick-off 10 p.m. Club open from 8 p.m.

If England progress, watch out for further live football nights potentially Wednesday 15th and Sunday 19th , if that isn't counting chickens before they are hatched...

Tuesday 14 July is Film Night, when Elizabeth will be showing Mother's Pride, a comedy-drama about a failing pub, a divided community and a grieving family whose lives are changed by brewing real ale and entering the Great British Beer awards.
With an ensemble cast including Martin Clunes, James Buckley, Josie Lawrence, Mark Addy, Luke Treadaway and Miles Jupp, this is sure to be entertaining!

There have been some enquiries about events at the Hall in July. An email should come out to members shortly, but in the meantime; Saturday 11th England v Norway, Tuesday 14th Film night, Wednesday 15th Football tbc, Sunday 19th Football tbc, Monday 20th AGM 730pm, Wednesday 22nd CAMRA presentation, Sunday 26th private party. 👍
