Well today marks the 200 years since the first passenger steam engine ran from Shildon …and we are a very proud town ..at Forget me not we have made a little nod to such a prestigious event in history 🚂 ( and little boy has just come up to me and said it’s such a lovely train and he loves it so my work is complete 🥹. …) and we are looking forward to celebrating this afternoon too in Hackworth park S&DR celebration picnic …from 12 noon till 4 pm ..forcast looks good ( thankfully )
Plenty to see at LocomotionShildon museum too …lots of footage from ITV and northern echo from yesterdays celebrations and royal visit too …

Helloo September ..and here we are ..feeling autumnal ..The experts are saying we are 5 and half weeks ahead of the season ….we are travelling down country to do a wonderful wedding this week so unfortunately our a flower service will resume for flower orders next Monday September 8th ……

However September is one of my favourite months …and we have weddings galore and birthdays this month ..( good old Librans and virgos ..😉)
September Birth Flowers: Aster & Morning Glory |
The primary flowers representing September are the Aster and the Morning Glory. Asters are beloved for their late-season, star-shaped blooms in shades of purple, pink, blue, and white, symbolizing love, wisdom, and beauty. Morning glories are trumpet-shaped vines whose flowers open with the sun and close by afternoon, representing renewal and unrequited love.

So on that note I will be pressing on with lots of floral goodness ready for travelling and excited too as I love packing the van ..don’t I Diane !,

Well what a busy last few days we’ve had .. even the last few weeks .. it was wonderful to see so many on Saturday for the celebration carnival procession and fun day for 200 years of The Stockton and Darlington Railway ..the Town was buzzing !!!
And Thankyou so very much for all your comments for our Floral planted Locomotion Train ! It’s certainly caused some fantastic comments …..
My brother ( Thankyou John !) and I have managed to get it into the bank today .. thankfully , so if you pop by you can have another look and see version two In Late September for the next celebratory event!
Still working and doing flower orders and deliveries! Next workshop this Friday 10 am few places remaining … .. and a lovely wedding for the weekend to do … 🚂🤩😎🙏🌸🌼🌺
