We’ve got a great line up of workshops coming up this October.

✨ Upcoming Dates / 1pm to 3 pm every other Thursday. Each session is £26

1 October , 1-3pm - Tutor: Blossom Chambers. Blossom will be teaching a lino pattern printing workshop using pigment ink pads.

15th October , 1-3pm - Tutor: Blossom Chambers Join Blossom for a Collage session.

29th October , 1-3pm - Tutor: Claudia Dharamshi, Foliage Still Life painting

More info about our workshop // Studio Sherborne offers a uniquely beautiful space to explore painting, drawing, printmaking, alongside many other art subjects, all whilst making new friends. A two-hour session to explore, be curious, find creativity, and make some art.

Each session boasts a fresh theme or focus – still life, landscapes, abstract, collage, using paint, pastels, inks, charcoal. The cupboards are bursting full of materials to be investigated; your imagination can take you anywhere.

Inside the Social Art Club, you will be guided by one of the Studio’s in-house tutors who will encourage you to play and experiment with creative prompts in amongst good company, a cup of tea or coffee, and a sweet treat.

Extended pose life drawing for those that want to delve into more detail or do as many drawings or paintings as you wish. The class size is limited to allow participants to work on large scale. This is a non tutored session hosted by Kate Clarkson.
• Basic materials provided including cartridge paper, drawing ink, charcoal, pencils., water based oils.
• Access to tables, easels and stools.
• Tea and coffee
• Prior experience is recommend
There will be an hours break from lunch.

Urban studio setting in the heart of Sherborne. 🎨🖌️🖼️
For those wanting to develop their own practice solo, or non commercial hire, we offer a discounted rate with a minimum of 2 hours.

If you are an artist currently looking for a residency, we also hire out the private art studio upstairs. The light is very special up there and the canvas left blank for you to create in and fill with your art.

There is ample opportunity for longer residency terms.

Coming up this month!
Join our intimate weekly life drawing sessions at Studio Sherborne. Our host will lead a few warm-up exercises, followed by short poses, increasing to 20-40min as the session goes on. We encourage everyone to develop their own style and approach.

It’s a friendly, relaxed, and creative environment where you can explore lots of different mediums without pressure. All materials are provided.

Previous drawing experience recommended.
