Dorset Arts Week has arrived, and we are ready to throw open our Studio doors from Monday, 25th to 31st May, 10 am to 4 pm.

Joining Victoria Young Jamieson will be painters Dawn Thompson, Erica Fairhurst, conceptual artist Emily Duchscherer Kirk, photographer Susannah Bosanquet, painter Paula Natalie Young, printmaker Lynda Powney, and sculptural stone carver Amberley Long.

To connect with your favourite artist, the stewarding schedule is as follows:

Monday 25th: Emily Duchscherer Kirk

Tuesday 26th: Lynda Powney

Wednesday 27th: Loretta 10 am to 12.30 pm / Erica Fairhurst 1 to 4 pm

Paint abstract and colourful circles oozing with texture with in social art club this Thursday 6-8pm

🆕 to the studio! Model Verosha is visiting our sessions on Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 10.30-12.30pm this week. Here’s some images she has kindly provided us with from sessions she has attended in Bristol. We are looking forward to it!

As the Summer draws ever nearer, it is time to remind you that we will be featuring a skeletal events calendar across June, July, and August. We will be running Social Art Club and some Life Drawing; dates will be announced soon. As always, we will be back in Autumn, bursting with a new lease of life, with a full creative calendar of classes and courses.

Studio Sherborne offers a uniquely beautiful space to explore painting, drawing, printmaking, alongside many other art subjects, all whilst making new friends. A two-hour session to explore, be curious, find creativity, and make some art.

Inside the Social Art Club, this week you will be guided by Blossom Chambers for a master class in collage, in amongst good company, a cup of tea and a sweet treat.

Wednesdays | 6–8pm Starting THIS WEEK! 22nd April ✨

We’re so excited to welcome back to the studio for 5 weeks of printmaking!

LINO PRINTING / TETRA PACK / SCREEN PRINT

These sessions are perfect for total beginners looking to explore a “kitchen sink” approach to printmaking—learn a mix of techniques you can easily try again at home.

Drop-ins are also welcome if you’d like to access materials, get Emma’s expert guidance, and be part of a relaxed, supportive creative space.

Materials are included, with additional lino cuts available for purchase.

Sessions are £28 per session
