Last week’s life drawing was amazing!! Beautiful results. Join us this week:
Tuesday 7-8pm and Wednesday 10.15-12.15, £18 per session or £15 when you pay for six upfront.

Life drawing continues for another 6 weeks!

You can book each session singularly or there is an availability to bulk purchase 6 sessions for £90. (also redeemable on Drink & Draw events) Once purchased you will receive a code that you can choose from any of the 12 life drawing sessions available and you don’t have to book them in straight away.

Please note all our sessions of life drawing will now be upstairs in Victoria’s painting studio to make the most of the lovely natural light whilst evenings are bright!

Tuesday Evening 7-9pm
Wednesday Morning 10.15am-12.15pm

These sessions are not tutored but are hosted by lovely artists Kate W on Tuesdays Kate C on Wednesday and who will be doing both occasionally. Lucky us!!!

Fantastic results from our experimental landscape painting session yesterday! Since it was a small group I asked everyone to bring in a photograph to work from, we started the session with some experimental play, then moved into abstraction and finished off with applying these techniques as the building block for our painting. Sadly it was our last one until after the summer but we finished with a banger. Stay in the loop for the next series coming up in the Autumn.

New Land is an exhibition featuring new work from the acclaimed artist Fernando Velazquez. The exhibition is for four days only this coming May bank holiday, but you can join Fernando for the private view on 25.05.25 between 17:30 and 19:30.

This is part of a wider open weekend at The Old Yarn Mills collective of independent businesses featuring antiques, wine shop and a brewery.

Paint Club Today! (Friday, 12–2 PM)
Join us for a creative session led by , who will kick things off with a demonstration in her signature experimental style using acrylics and inks. We’ll explore abstract techniques and layering color to create a striking image.

Sound fun?! - there’s a longer, more in-depth session next Saturday, 17th May, 2–5 PM, where you’ll have more time to develop your individual experimental landscape in acrylic and ink.

Join Victoria Young Jamieson for a 2 hour painting workshop this Friday 12-2pm!
Learn to use acrylic and ink workshop will feature her innovative technique using ink and acrylic to represent elements in a landscape. This session is perfect for those looking to break away from traditional methods and embrace a more spontaneous and playful approach to painting. We will also be touching on abstraction and discussing the use of color to enhance your artwork.
