A wet, windy, and emotional wedding yesterday for a gorgeous couple who have been through so much together. They're made for each other, and to preside over their wedding after first meeting them when they lost their baby daughter, was a full circle moment for all three of us. 🧡

Part of a lengthy and amazing message I received following a recent funeral I officiated. I'm choosing to keep most of it private, but I was so touched by this part that I had to share it: "Everyone said you were warm and kind, and you are. It's as though you're made of light. It shines out of you."

Wedding season starts this week for me. The first one this weekend, and I've just come from meeting with another lovely couple getting married next month. The ceremony is going to be in their beautiful garden under some gorgeous driftwood sculptures. 💕

I weirdly enjoy the days when a quickie car picnic between work commitments is on the cards. Possibly because I'm a little bit in love with my car (!), but maybe because I can reset my emotional energy by spending a few minutes alone with my thoughts and a bite to eat. 😊

I often add colour to my outfit if families tell me their loved one's favourite - but occasionally, families are adamant that they don't want any black at all to be worn. I'm happy to embrace that, like earlier this week, for a lovely lady who liked pastel colours. ✨️

The eulogy you delivered was truly beautiful and captured Mum’s life, spirit and memories in such a meaningful and personal way. I've just returned from a truly incredible holiday to the West Highlands of Scotland - travelling up to Mallaig on the train, over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct. It was a soul-healing trip - filled with beautiful scenery, amazing food, and time for me and my husband to just be together. I return as ever with a grateful heart, ready to look after the families who need me. 🧡
