🧡 A note sent to both me and one of the lovely Funeral Directors I work with:

"I just needed to write to tell you how amazing you both were on Friday.

It was obviously a very stressful and sad day but you both made it bearable. I am not sure if you were aware but whilst waiting to go into the crematorium I felt myself beginning to unravel but both your kind and encouraging words just gave me the strength to carry on.

Everyone there remarked to me how great you both were and how compassionate and caring that Antonia came over. I was pleased to hear some chuckles which M would have loved, a true reflection of a celebration of his life and not just a funeral.

A massive ‘thank you’ from me and the family

I have the most glorious flower fairy who frequently leaves beautiful tokens for me on the windshield of my car when it's parked at the crematorium. These are just a few ... and they make my day every time. 🥰

I'm stepping back from social media for a while, due a family bereavement and the subsequent demands on my time. Rest assured, I'll be telling myself all the things that I tell my lovely families during this time. Nothing I say is ever 'just words'. It all comes from a place of knowledge, experience and love.
